Welp. Doing what was supposed to be an easy bearing replacement on a tile saw quickly spilled into a catastrophic failure. Not only do the bearing need replacing, but the cooling fan broke, which worked it's way into fucking up the brushes which broke into small pieces and ground down the armature

 

"I was just using it and it started making this weird noise"

 

Basically. Worst thing is this shit will happen and go from something small into something big because they didn't want to stop using it. The damn thing almost started a fire when I turned it on
