Lol. I can't believe some of the stuff I see on there though. Why would you try and sell something with dust all over the headstock and rusty strings?

Specially on some super nice, expensive guitar.

My favs are guitars or other electronics on CL that are laid out on some nasty, stained mattress with no sheet on it in some ramshackle trailer with waterspots on the ceiling or clothes piles up in the corner. :puke:

    This vintage Kramer Voyager beak.$1500.
Dude, I wouldn't even ask $1500 for my strat head and it's near mint.

But damn, get some polish and a dust rag bro. No buyer wants to see that.

sometimes i take intentionally bad pics to sell items in hopes no one will bite. it's a terrible tactic when it's something i'm not too keen on selling. speaking of, i have another round of pedals that i'm ready to part with. i'll post them up later today to see if anyone's interested. this thread seems to be getting more traffic than usual.

on the flip side, i did take great shots of a Strat i sold on Reverd a while ago...

    MStrat.jpg

also, @Matic , i have this weird Washburn rack distortion unit that i've been kicking around. i finally have the right means to ship it. it's kind of a one-off forgotten piece of equipment, but i thought you might be interested.

one bent rack ear, but it has the OG footswitch. some interesting sounds that would suit a home studio well.

Headphones and strap arrived. Cheap headphones, if I don't like them I'm not out much. Basic leather strap, little bit of padding, again not out much if I don't like.

Appreciate it. Between my Eleven Rack and boss me-33, I'm set for a while on effects.
I've still got to order my JBL's from Sweetwater before the sale ends on the 31st.

If you're just using them for quiet jamming, I don't see an issue with some cheapo headphones.
A high end pair only comes into play when you are mixing down tracks for audio clarity.

I love the smell of new strings in the morning.

Especially when they come in a day early!
    And candy!

    So far so good.
    Still gotta tune/adjust/tune again etc

The fretboard separation doesnt look any worse, gonna have to keep an eye on it.
Not really bad enough to do anything major to it at this point.

Somebody gouged up the hole prying the b pin out once upon a time but its not fubard by any means.
