Hmmmm, I mean my Pop & Lock works great thats wired in to my Kick Panel, connected to my OEM handle. From what I see, OP is making a new handle that can lock with a key and also tap in to the truck locks to use the fob.

OP how will yours be better than what Pop & Lock already offers? Is it based on the connector and not having to splice? Is your handle going to be manufactured better than Pop & Locks? I have heard the PL handles blow, but I have never used one. Just trying to see the reason I would switch from what I currently have.

Is there any failsafe set up in this unit? With the wires being routed under the truck (similar to most), could the wires be cut and connected to a battery to open the switch? Just curious. Maybe the alarm goes off if the wires are cut??

I have an aftermarket alarm (M.E.S.A. brand if that helps). My stock key fob was replaced with a new one. My alarm/lock system has a separate circuit for a "trunk lock" and there is a separate button on the key fob.

I'd like to wire my tailgate to the trunk lock. I figure why put "wear & tear" on the tailgate lock when over 90% of use is to enter the cab.

Other than figuring out what wire/circuit on my aftermarket system harness to use are there other problems you can foresee with this?

Does the harness you supply connect in the driver's side footwell or elsewhere?

    ETA:
Found the answer to the last question on the OP's link.

Thanks for making these for the 2nd gens! Would I need to run and aftermarket popnlock for this to work or can I use my stock handle?

So I tried to use the COVID-19 code on your website and it showed a discount of $0.00. What's up with that?

I was looking to get the full tailgate package and the in cab power outlet package.

I contacted the OP through her website on Friday and asked about the discount not working. She asked "The sale last month?". Looking at the calendar, Friday was May 1st. I replied since her previous post here said "Last week for the 19% off discount" I took it to mean the whole week.

Since I think she should have said the sale ends this Thursday, or April 30th, I asked if they would still offer me the sale price.
