Well $1,500 is cheaper than a newer rig... so I'd spend $1,500 over $20,000 on a new rig plus all the money to re do a whole new rig

Mine was made by @GHOST SHIP here in socal, it's a tail gate swing out though (not a bumper swing out) so it replaces the tail gate.

If I'm being honest, a little lol. It's nice to have a tail gate to sit on when you're just hanging out by your truck or for extra table space when unloading the bed, setting up camp, etc.

I was thinking about putting in a sheet of metal on the inside attached to some hinges and using the old straps from my tail gate so I could at least have a table area to set things down on (wouldn't want to sit on it of course though)

If you can build around this it would be a cool feature.

I'm talking about an OEM-replacement tank with extended capacity. Yeah, even a universal bed slip tank is $600+ dollars for the tank itself

tbh I kind of like the unpainted look, at least when it was freshly raw. By now it would not look good if I hadn't painted it...speaking of which I need to touch it up in spots. I used a couple coats of self etching primer before I put down the paint but it didn't hold up that well for some reason.

Oh no I was referring to the old discontinued tail gate style (hence I said tiregate).

You were talking about items produced specifically for our 1st gens.

Oh it'll bend, just depends on when it'll break; 5 seconds? 10 seconds? How's the quarantine treating you; wasn't your wife cooking and baking a lot more? :luvya:

Ugh yeah, surprisingly I haven't gained any weight though. Probably because I'm also losing muscle mass from not having my gym routine so it's balancing out lol

    Bowflex :muscleflexing:

Who am I kidding; used to ride my bike and it's been a good 2 months now since I've taken it out.

No weight lost or gained, but definitely don't feel the same

yeah tell me about it. I've never been a very flexible person but playing hockey once a week helped keep me somewhat flexible. But haven't played in weeks (months) now.

The other day I went to sit cross legged on the floor to play with my daughter and I nearly yelped in pain, I couldn't fucking do it lol. My hips won't bend that way anymore

Hmm yeah that does look a lot sturdier. Still wouldn't want to sit on it though just because of the pressure it would put on the swing out mounts to the bed
