TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

It’s not a washer but an oil seal with a retaining clip. And that’s why the bearings must be open bearings.

And yes there is a bearing on the other side of that seal. The TRD blower is more like the m90 in that it has a significant step inside for the front bearing to seat with the oil seal protecting the other side of the bearing. So if you pressed the seal in more it would eventually disrupt that front bearing.

 

I don’t think a sealed bearing would last very long. There’s a reason superchargers have an oil reservoir and opened bearings.

 

Hence the CUT and relocate battery!!

Anyone have one of Roostfactor's bars off the truck to measure it or measure on truck? Trying to figure out how long the piece should be so I can order a SS bar. Center to center would be even great too. Thanks!

EDIT - just saw another picture... maybe the bar goes across the two existing bolts and I don't need measurement....

Yup like @nudavinci64 said just call and order it. Cost me around $41. I forgot to order the hardware with it, maybe I will get lucky and they will send some if not I guess I’ll head into the local hardware store and get some.
If they cannot find the part number read it out in alphanumerical. Not sure if it was my Californian accent throwing the gal off but the first call didn’t work out for me.

The bracket, AF5025 is from a Flowmaster 615141 Delta Force Performance Air Intake.
