    My truck gets aligned tomorrow and my wheels and tires go on Monday or Tuesday. In the meantime, I just took my truck on a short drive to get a better feel for the Eibach setup and to check for any new sounds or vibrations.

    So far, everything is great. The ride is awesome and I have zero strange noises/vibrations. I can’t recommend this kit enough. Great quality.

    How is everyone’s CV angles looking after installation? I’m worried about the inner boots fins rubbing

    ...big red box just arrived, coils and springs are here. Just waiting on the AAL to arrive tomorrow.

    @Ryan at Eibach

    My kit did come with the sway bar relocation brackets, I assume since it comes with them that this is one of the older kits and they are required? Or just install shocks first and see where the sway bar lands before popping the brackets on?

    Glad you love the ride!

    I just had my truck aligned again yesterday. When my lift was installed, they aligned it to factory specs. When I got the new wheels and tires put on I had some pretty noticeable positive camber, so I had to have it aligned again.

    My kit came with the sway bar relocation kit too & I had just purchased it from Headstrong, so I’m assuming it was one of the newer updated kits. I went ahead and installed mine. There definitely seems to be some confusion and conflicting information out there about it though.

    I’ll keep that in mind. Hopefully, I’ll be ok with just the initial alignment and won’t need a 2nd.

    Also, I’m happy to report that I’m still @ 2.25” of front lift. So far, after a few days & a couple of drives, no settling.

    I know the feeling. I came from a 2010 F-150 with a 6” lift on 35”s.

    So I know this has been answered in here already. Looking for additional conformation before I order. I will be installing a Leer shell on the 5ft bed, so Ill want some rake to start. Otherwise my 2020 Sport is stock. Ill be ordering the Eibach kit set to the 1st notch with 3 AAL, spacer for the lean, and keep the overload leaf in?!? Sounds about correct yes? If so then Headstrong here I come!

    i just got the same lift and set up. My understanding is the HeadStrong 3 leaf AAL was made for use without the overload but, check with Marie at HeadStrong.

    Going to install this lift set at first notch (2 inch) and am just curious if you guys think I could run a 17x8.5 rim -6 offset with 285/70/17’s? Or would I have all sorts of rubbing issues?

    I had mine set at first notch and I have no rubbing with 285/70/17 17x8.5 -10. I installed the wheels and tires before the lift and did minor plastic trimming then though. Worst case, you’d have to do minor plastic trimming. If you’re off roading you may have to do CMC, other than that you should be good.

    I took overload out on my install and have a Leer cap on. Sits with a just over 1/2" of rake (rear high).

    Well, shit! I took my truck for a ride today and I heard the dreaded pulsating vibration of a needle bearing going out. Switched it into 4wd and it instantly went away. At least I know what the issue is. Thought I might get lucky and not have to deal with it, but I should’ve known better. Other than that, everything is perfect.

    I’m going to order the ECGS bushing. My buddy and his garage have all the tools. I just need the parts. Does ECGS sell seals or anything else I might need?

    I’d recommend the seal from ECGS when you order. I didn’t plan on replacing mine but bought it for in case or in the future situation. Glad I did because when I pulled the needle bearing out I also grabbed the circular keeper spring in the seal and couldn’t get it back in. So I replaced the seal. I’ll also say that the new ECGS bushing is bigger then the Toyota bearing and it was much easier getting that new bushing in and lined up with the seal out of the way. The bearing driver I had was useless for me because of the angle and I ended up using a large socket with long extensions to hammer that bushing in.
