Yes, parts and labor. They have always been pretty affordable at my local dealership.

I'll have to check with other dealerships, for quotes. When I picked up my truck I had asked the service advisor more into detail why it was so expensive. Explain that they had to remove hoses and drain coolant lines.

That’s crazy, and a first hearing that! I’d definitely check around.

Iridiums are pricey. I found the best deal at Rockauto for $11.55 (15 Dec 2019).

So I changed my plugs today following this writeup. One thing I would add is that for the two brackets on the driver's side, the bottom bolts are easiest to access from the wheel well. Tried for a while from up top before finding out you can access them from below.

This is what I came to find. Did you need to jack up the car or remove the wheel? Or could you access it normally?

No need for either, was able to access it normally.

How did you get to the bottom bolts on the bars? I can't get my hands down there and have enough room to work the ratchet

Through the wheel well. A 12” extension and a universal joint.

That's the route I went but busted my knuckles due to using the short socket. Don't have a universal joint.

Don't have to do that for a while thank goodness.

    Thanks for the reply.

Just did all (6) of my plugs for my 60,000 mile service on my 2016 TRDOR.

I used this write-up as a guide (thanks for putting this together OP), but decided to complete the task without removing any components. Color me lazy I suppose.

You can replace all (6) plugs without removing the airbox or the brackets on the drivers side. I had to disconnect (2) plugs, (2) hoses (one required zero tools), and move the drivers side rear insulation a bit.

If anyone is interested in doing this work without removing any major components let me know and I may attempt to film the work to share with the community.

I changed the plugs myself using this write-up as a guide, took about an hour and was fairly straightforward.

Alright, I have received an adequate number of likes to give it a shot.

Let me figure out when I can pull the truck back in the garage. Also have to figure out how to film it well enough as well.

I was able to accomplish this as well without having to remove the air box and brackets. Granted, you need to have extensions and universal joints to make life easier, but most Tacoma owners do because they like to accessorize. It’s not difficult at all. I’ve done Hemi motors and those are buried against the firewall.
