This one took me forever to get started. I tried contacting Excide, they expressed NO interest in this. I contacted Optima and they pretty much ignored my constant requests for a discount. I couldn't get a vendor to provide discounts on Odyssey.

Northstar, on the other hand replied and directed me to a distributor that's more than willing to work with me with this one.

Hopefully you used the coupon code. It's 364 with core here for me. I was looking at the same one when this thread caught my eye.

 

Batteries Plus website currently has ten percent off a group 31 which brings it down to $350.99 total and is local for me, so no shipping, plus a longer warranty. This beats all possible price points on this group buy. Just asking if this group buy gets you anything better than that, perhaps a price match or throw in extended warranty, etc?

 

I got mine for 20% off which brought it to $310 OTD after taxes. So it was $50 cheaper than the GB price.

disclaimer - I got 20% off versus 10% because the store showed it in stock and when I showed up to buy it, it was no where to be found so they discounted it more for me having to wait 4 days for it to arrive.
