Installed my dorkel not that long ago. Whatcha got?

 

I got the Dobinsons but it’s on backorder, wanted to ask what the do’s and donts, any preparation, and how not to screw it up.

Let's see:

1. Use masking tape on the fender. Like the entire upper portion of it. Drill bits slip.

2. The template is probably still jacked up. Check it against the actual snorkel. Adjust fire as necessary. The washers give you a little wiggle for the mounting studs.

3. Instructions say to rivet the upper mount to the a-pillar. I used 3M dual-loc. Others have used other removable means. I had to bend the bracket a little to get it to work right.

Installed my upTop Bravo rack today. Now I need to buy stuff to put on it...

 

Whelp the front left wheel on the old taco has, i kid you not, 2 inches of play in it

@Darkgoatracer is this how you fab? no wonder your wheel has 2 inches of play. In which direction?

 

Of the install? No. The snorkel on the truck? I can take one tomorrow.

 

Swapped out the front suspension on the 4runner today. Installed ADS coilovers and MCM fab UCA's.

 

In all directions. The wheel bearing is entirely done

@BTHawk can you ask Joe if my gas tank skid, transfer case skid and jerry can holder are done and if so, grab them?
