    Yeah, time to take inventory.
I bet the members here could fill in the gaps, or most of them.

You see, that's why it's all nonsense.
One person feels "uncomfortable", so let's make everyone feel that way?

I sympathize with the person in question, but the so-called "solution" is no solution at all.
He /she is bound to still be uncomfortable.
    Wouldn't you be?

It takes special social skills to accept and understand the Ho.
Special social skills are our specialty here in whatever. 3rd gen, not so much.

I would as well. Can't support one employee's rights and not another's.

    This ^^^^^

    She's right you know! ^^^^

This is why I love TW and especially "Whatever"!!!! We can be juvenile idiots and have all kinds of fun but can also have serious discussions without issue!

So to add to the conversation.

I understand living in a place that is a decade or so behind. But I promise we are moving forward.

Working in a school and in the social work field, I have had multiple experiences with the many different gender options. At school, I have had students get mad at me because I called them by a specific gender that they no longer relate with. I’m like, how to fuck am I supposed to know. You have outward appearance of a female, i would think the polite thing to do is refer to you as one. WRONG sometimes.

I went to a restorative justice training once, I felt very out of place when we all circled up to discuss what pronouns we wanted to be referred to as. First, I was like, we are wearing names tags, why not just use each persons name. Nope, I was not liking the looks I got. Second, I’m thinking there’s like 60 people here, how am I going to remember each persons pronoun. And some were he or she while there were some that wanted “it”. Just doesn’t seem right to refer to someone as “it”.
So, when it was my turn to state my pronouns, I said call me anything you want, just not late for dinner. Well let’s say I saw the clear divide then. Oh and I left that meeting feeling bad because I was a white male. But that’s ok, my current supervisor continues to remind me that I am privileged.

I believe we all bleed and no ones rights are more important than someone else’s.

Holy shit @StayinStock , you got me on a rant. I’ll stop now.

I'd think even more so after being told to put up or find the exit. Guy should be able to voice his concern without fear of losing his job.
