    Anyone have the UCA bushings part number? Apparently 48632-35080 is 4Runner only, any reason that shouldn’t work?

    This is one if the things the solo lcas addresses by pushing the lbj forward to add castor. A lot of long travel kits do it too.

    Were the Whitelines too noisy or? I need to replace my LCA bushings and was thinking I'd just get new OEM ones pressed in rather than go poly if they're going to squeak like crazy after awhile.

    doubtful. Probably have that with maxed out cams and offroad miles. Most the miles you have on it weren't all lifted miles and such.

    I was just refering to the bushings. The cracks could still happen in the time window that they did whenever it started getting abused in the first place. So what..100k miles?

    Of course. But it was stock when you bought it. Didn't have a lift and wasn't being at least regularly abused like it is now is my point.

    I had to re-read this to understand what you were saying. Correct me if I am still misunderstanding, but you wish that instead of just replacing the LCA bushing, you wish you had replaced the entire LCA arms which would have come with new rubber bushings.

    I've been running the whitelines for a little over 2 years now. They have never been noisy for me.

    Measuring idle RPMs. I never noticed that the hash marks between 0 and 1000rpm aren't evenly spaced like they are with the rest of the tach. Do the intermediate hash marks still represent 250, 500, and 750? Looks like I'm in the high 800s / low 900s here either way. Planning to clean the throttle body and IAC this weekend to see if that has any impact on the idle.

    I had forgotten that yours were showing fatigue cracks on the lower shock tabs also. What did you do to repair and strengthen your LCAs so they will last more miles.

    Curious if a tub would be necessary with these and a 1"BL to fit 35s. They push it an inch further forward correct? That's the difference in radius of a 33 to 35.

    yeah its a lot. But if you have aftermarket UCAs then I think it would be centered with another 2 degrees from them.

    I'd imagine no matter what You'd have to tube a bit. Not as much but still would just given the suspension cycling and turning.

    I am coming in late to the convo, but sounds like you had an issue with your LCAs caused by damage--were they OEM or aftermarket?

    I am trying to see what would be the best LCA replacement for me, since I need to do bushings (I figure might as well replace the arms). Are there any aftermarket ones you'd recommend? I have a small lift, but not long-travel.

    If @Squeaky Penguin was able to stuff 34s in there with just a bfh I think it may be doable. Not sure if I'll stick with a mid travel setup when the time comes or go LT yet, just weighing options. Need to have the turbo setup dialed before I'd even consider bumping to 35s anyway.

    I'm with you here. My mounts have hit enough rocks that they were bent. Trying to get the LCA and washer in there was a PITA!

    I've done a bunch over the last month, mostly fixing/cleaning up wiring. The wiring to both turn signals was broken so I pulled the loom apart, cut a few inches off and put new pigtails. Everything worked fine a month ago, but yesterday when I took it for it's first drive I get hyper blink. Figured one of the bulbs went out, so today I checked and they're all working fine, just hyper blinking, hazards blink normal. I checked the fuses/relay, all good, so I moved to the wiring and something was clicking and sucking. Well turned out the turn signals are screwing with the IAC, fuck me, time to pull everything apart and figure what I fucked up.

    Buttoned up one side of my rock sliders in place of rocker sheet metal. Ended up a total of 5 inches narrower and 3 inches higher than my old ones
