No you're looking at like 5 lbs give or take.

What parts do you need? Are you doing a total frame replacement??

Just got done bottling my first batch of beer! Ended up with a little more than 2 cases (only had 48 bottles so I had to ditch some). I did try it and it tastes like warm, flat beer, so I guess that's a positive. I'll let the bottles sit for a couple weeks and see how things progress. ABV was just shy of 5%. Also started 2 small batches of hard cider so we'll see how those come out. Those have a potential to push up to 10% and be dryer than a fart. Seems like ciders have a bit of a learning curve so it should be fun.
Sanitized and ready to transfer then bottle:

2 cider batches air locked and brewing. I added brown sugar to one:

    2 cases of home brew!

I’ve been spraying a couple a week for the past month. Basically taking a chimney brush on a drill to knock everything loose then blowing it all out. The previous undercoating was black on the outside and white on the inside. This stuff is like Boston cream filling, so far it doesn’t really change consistency but hangs onto the frame pretty good

Rain/snow stopped and I was able to get a lot of work outside done! Got the camper back together and sprayed down the frame everywhere it was starting to rust. Had some electrical crap to sort out, got the new electric jack wired up and reinstalled the propane tank holder that I took off last weekend, wire wheeled and spray painted. Also, got the new exhaust on :burnrubber: I ended up getting exactly what I wanted, a little more rumble, nothing obnoxious. Marginally louder than stock but a deeper tone. No drone in the cab but I haven't been out to the highway with it yet (its not loud enough to where I think it will drone anyways though). No pictures yet, it was an SOB to install. They tell you to just cut the stock exhaust to get it out. I didn't want to do that so I played Tetris under the truck trying to get it all out in one piece. Took a couple hours, but I managed it. New exhaust went in in about 45 minutes.

with how easy it is to junction exhaust tubing I’d have just drawn a long line to be able to line it up and just cut it and welded it back together after and saved myself the trouble. But. I also DGAF about exhaust sounds and whatnot myself. Which is why I’m considering stepping into the Toyota 4 banger as my next truck. That thing will be indestructible. Even for me.

There was a time... I think it was after the first hour had elapsed and I'd finally got the middle section of the stock exhaust free from it's rusty confines that I was about to get out the saw and cut that sucker apart. I was really nervous about it being too loud (I have commitment issues) so I wanted to at least be able to go back to stock or at least say I could if I wanted to.

    Hey now....

Yeah, I wouldn't wheel it. It would be my daily driver and then I'd get a junker jeep or something to hit the trails with. A lot of what-ifs in the future. Not worth fussing over right now, I have a 6 month old truck that is still doing wonderful (despite a small squeak, I suspect due to a rock wedged somewhere).

I kind of want an XC70 as a second vehicle. I've always loved them--even bought one once and fixed it up, but got to the last thing (failed AWD) and ended up reselling it for what I had into it. I was in the process of buying a house and a couple grand for immediate house needs was more valuable than a second vehicle that I still had to put a few hundred more into.

I've seen some XC70 T6s (300 HP Volvo wagon!) in nice shape and the price isn't horrible.
