Is the GFs truck all finished up?

 

I got my head shaved yesterday while sitting in the back yard in a lawn chair. My daughter took some dog clippers without a guard and just peeled it all off.

Now I have the low maintenance Bruce Willis look. LOL..

 

It's been a while since I've posted up. I got the suspension all buttoned up and her daughter had it aligned. Put 150~ miles on it and it threw a whole bunch of transmission codes and will only go into 3rd gear or reverse if it goes into gear at all.

Fluid is maroon with no glitter and it hasn't had any shift issues before so I am pretty optimistic that it's not a mechanical issue.

I pulled the connectors at the TCM and the transmission side and all the pins/wires look OK

The gear indicator on the dash has been flaky for a long time and that is controlled by the Neutral Safety Backup Switch. I just ordered a new switch because apparently that cause some of the codes as well -- if the TCM's hydraulic pressure readings don't correspond with the gear that the switch says the truck should be in I believe it defaults to neutral.

Turns out the OEM part from an authorized dealer is cheaper than the generic parts house branded ones so I sent it

Technically we could. Never had it though.. but I have 0 deductible on windshields. My 01 has had 6, the corolla is on #14

 

Yeah, I've got $0 on my comprehensive as well.

Only had to replace 1, knock on wood.

holy shit man lol. I've never had to replace a windshield in...18 years almost. I do have a chip in mine but it's not cracked, yet
