My Tacoma is the same silver. I like the way the bumper turned out. Also, how the F do you keep all your black plastic looking so new? I live in Phoenix so it's hot as balls most of the year and the plastic takes a beating.

I say bring the front end up a little bit then because at a glance looks a bit lower than the rear. Rear being only 1.75” lift, the front is probably not much more than stock height. What length/weight coils and how much preload on the front?

Am a sucker and installed some All Pro bed stiffeners. I hope they actually do something for support. I measured a 3/16 reduction in the gap at the top of the tailgate, and at any rate have a bunch of extra tie down points, etc. Pretty beefy chunks of metal.

Also cleaned out blower motor fan thingy, and replaced my dirty cabin filter with a K&N washable one. Feel like the extra price is worth it to just rinse and re-use. Ordered the AC fan relay hoping it helps the fan speed.

Still need to wire the 3rd brake light on the camper.

Is your 2010 silver streak mica (paint code 1E7)? How well does it match? looks pretty darn good in the pics! I've got a project that this might be perfect for, all the paint code matched vinyls I've looke at are stupid expensive.

I have always liked this idea, I just can't steer away from racks that I don't have to remove my front wheel. The best idea I have come up with tho is two pieces of aluminum flat bar sticking out like yours that you could just bolt a 1UP rack too. Only thing is...those racks aren't that cheap for a little convenience haha. I did convert my T2 into a swing out over the winter tho!

Check post #2 for the updates!

The SideRide Rack Mount is what I have in mind for those with roof rack setups currently!

My vote is to leave it, it is hard to improve on perfection! Great looking truck, has it all, Access Cab, & the proper (fastest) color. jmop

Awesome work @Nimble9 . How did you do this to your Thule T2?! I have a Thule T2 Classic and have thought about getting the Yakima backswing extension to convert it!

It sounds like you’ve got 13” coils. Could swap on 14” coils to remove some of that preload. And depending on your future front end set up, jump up to 650 lb coils

Yup same colour code as you! The colour is the tinniest smidge darker than the actual paint. Even with the vinyl right beside the paint, it's hard to see.
See this thread for a little info. I started it so I could find a close-to colour match.

I've heard @AccuTune Offroad says maximum 21" measurement from top hat to center of lower bolt at ride height for your Fox's, to avoid overextending. You could measure your overall shock height and make a decision from there. Maybe a vendor can confirm.

Building a wedge camper. I'm probably going to go with white panels to start but figure they're easy enough to take off if I decide I don't like it and want to vinyl wrap or paint them once it's done. It doesn't have to be a perfect match, close enough is good enough for me.

Yeah I've been toying with the idea of starting a build thread for my truck so I can document it there but I'll definitely be putting some pics up either way once I truly get to work on building it. Still finishing up some CAD work and building welding fixtures before I can start burning metal together.

For people like you and me carrying things on the bed sides, it makes sense to get the bed stiffeners. It's helped me straighten and keep straight my bed sides. The additional tie down points is something I use every weekend. I have the TC bed stiffeners, but they all accomplish the same.
