You could also use gunpowder to burn art into the wood!
It is meant for outdoor water/bug treatment. I would def seal it with something.

My biggest problem is the controllers to get a good one is really expensive. After we got the current machine we figured out that the controller was garbage and spent like another $1500 in having it rebuilt here in the US and getting new software to work with it.

Man an 8’ x 16’ would be freaking awesome. I need a lot of money then I would open a maker factory and have people join for memberships.

Plus I like that you buy the plans that are 1:1 drawings.

I got to work on creating a cardboard stencil for my shelf. If I eff up my first attempt (or second or third lol) at least I have the stencil to fall back on to start things over. The rough dimensions come out to about 46" tall by 48" wide.

I feel like that may be pushing the limits for a wall hanger that will also be holding 12-18 bottles, but I'm not really sure. Part of me wants to make it 5'x5' for increased storage. What do y'all think... leave it manageable and make additional accent shelving if I need it, or send it with a 5x5 instead? I plan on hanging this in my office upstairs and that room only has an 8 foot ceiling, so I've got to consider that as well.

The larger it gets the more you’re going to put on it and the more supports it’s going to need. The weight of all the bottles could be more than you can hang. As it gets heavier you need to make sure you’re anchoring into studs.

If you don't go the biggest you can you will regret it later!! I mean what @Kanyon71 said about anchoring it to the studs etc.. but go as big as you can.. and looks good so far!

Thanks for the insight guys. After playing around with the stencil to get an idea of how this will look on the wall I think I'm gonna stick with this size for now. Maybe version 2.0 will be bigger when I have a larger space available for it.

That shaped and idea would also make a really cool whiskey/card table.

Or an inlay in a "normal" shaped table.. some sort of epoxy ... I'd do the state in epoxy so you could do the rivers etc as well ... that might be a master project though LOL.. Oh and maybe LED lit rivers at that! HAHA
