I just ordered the ECGS bushing and seal. Came to $98.

    $60 for the bushing
    $20 for new seal
    $18 shipping.

Something I forgot to mention is gear oil. I can’t recall the videos but none of them showed the amount of oil came out and needed to be replaced.

@Ryan at Eibach, I did not order a 1/4" plate for the "taco lean". With that said, do I need it for the front driver side with this kit? I will order if needed. My Eibach pro-truck lift kit and Eibach 1" blocks are set to arrive today and installation is next Weds!

@Th6nh did you install a 1/4 spacer for "taco lean"?

I ordered my kit through Headstrong & it came with the 1/4” driver’s side top plate spacer for the “Taco Lean.” I installed it and everything looks great. A good company like Headstrong wouldn’t include it if it wasn’t necessary. That’s just my .02 anyways.

I've read so much about the taco lean and the 1/4" spacer, but I have not found any info indicating that it is more than cosmetic.
So am I right in assuming that it's just the truck equivalent of a harmless leg length discrepancy?

Asking because I'm going to get the Eibach kit and AAL 3 pack installed in about 2 weeks.

Ok cool. I'll place an order then. I ordered my kit from ExtremeTerrain.. The spacer not included and I had to order the 1" blocks separate.

Appreciate the offer! Unfortunately, I'm on the other side of the US (ATL, Georgia). Awesome setup btw! Hoping mine turns out just like yours!

From what I've gathered from reading this thread over the past few days, yes it is 100% cosmetic. I just ordered mine because it does not come included in the kit (depending on who you order from).

it’s a personal preference. We do not install them at Eibach. The Toyota’s are all over the place from the factory front to rear across all models.

Eibach pro lift installed. shocks set to middle notch (supposed to be 2.5” of lift) With Headstrong single AAL (supposed to be 1.5-2” of lift)

    Tires: Nitto Ridge Grappler 285 75 16

Wheels: matte dark bronze scs ray 10 16x8, with spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers

Only drove it home from the shop so far but no rubbing at all and very pleased with the ride quality. CMC and plastic trimming we’re necessary especially with the wheel spacers.

With all The old suspension components, 5 tires, and 4 wheels still in the bed the truck sits perfectly level. Guess it will have a slight rake once the load is removed; which is exactly how I was hoping it would turn out.

Here is some rainy day pics of the final product!

    New taco owner here.

Looking to get the Eibach pro lift kit, however before I pull the trigger I have a few questions. Now I'm sure these have been answered, however this is a long thread so I may have missed it.

    1. At Stage 1 (Bottom level) can I clear without rubbing? Looking to rock SCS BR6 wheels (17x8.5 BS 4.3 ET -10 with 285/70/17 tires). Really do not want to cut up the new truck! maybe a minor trim of plastics is fine.

    2. At stage one will the rear be leveled or racked? Looking for a level look, not planning on putting on a heavy load in the bed.

    Thanks!

    I have this exact setup.
    1) yes you can can clear with minor plastic trimming. I fit mine before the lift with minor plastic trimming
    2) you will have slight negative rake(high in front) with nothing in rear. I did 1.5” blocks in rear with front bottom setting and have exactly 1” rake(higher in back). Also did 1/4” driver spacer. My measurements after a couple weeks of settling are 38” on both sides in front and 39” on both sides in rear. With nothing in the rear you should be .5” higher in front...with 1/4” driver side spacer.

I have the same wheel specs but mine are ray 10’s. 17x8.5 -10 with 285/70/17 ridge grapplers
