    Congrats on your purchase!

I'm in socal I've been looking for a while.
Missed out on a couple deals, 11-13% off MSRP with Costco and rebate factored in.

I'm just going to wait for a truck that a dealer has coming in.

I'll probably end up waiting a while.

Do you think I paid to much? I'm at 14% off MSRP after rebates, which I was under the impression was a good deal.

Maybe people are getting ORs for similar to my OTD price, but that's because NJ has 7% tax

    A few.
Looks good to me. Trd OffRoad 4x4's don't sticker for 36k unless maybe its a manual. They start off in the high 38's.

You might want to shop your loan, I got 2.6% for 72mo in early April, it’s now down to 2.29% for the same 72mo here in Texas.

New user here fellas/ladies. Coming from several Jeep Wranglers for nearly 15 years, I am a potential new Tacoma owner (my first one ever). Sat in a dealership for several hours today and came up with these numbers. What do you think? MSRP = $39,985. Price offered is $33,985 + taxes and fees obviously. It's a 2020 TRD Off-Road/Auto/DC/5ft bed in white with the "technology package", the orange/black cloth interior, and a set of Predator steps. What do you guys think? I thought it seemed like a good deal. This will be done with their 0% financing option + a 12k trade value + some cash + college graduate discount.

Someone just posted this on a 2020 TRD Off Road... He had to choose between the rebate or the financing as well.

That makes my offer look like crap. I remember about a year and a half ago I saw a DC TRD OR go for around $29,500 before taxes and fees. It was at the end of the season when they were trying to push the last year models off the lot. Somebody got lucky. Shame it wasn't me. This was in Augusta, Georgia.

That's definitely a solid and good deal man, some struggle to get to 12% off MSRP with rebates and as some are noticing dealers are not massively discounting anymore as inventory dwindles, Jalopnik just posted an article, some dude wrote in about all the dealers not willing to sell at invoice to him a Tacoma, Parson's mentioned that often this happens once there's less inventory to move and less of an incentive to move more units at volume so dealer has to make each deal count. Plus in a down used market you got an additional $1k on your trade. Hopefully a decent APR if you financed and doesnt look like you fell for the finance guy's add ons. Nice man and congrats! Ya I was stationed in NJ for 5 years, thank gawd they had the tax credit and dealers there are rough to work with.

Back in 2016 there was a much bigger difference between the price of ORs and SR5s. I want to say it was like $2300 more than the difference now. That’s why I bought an SR5. How many people really need the rear locker which is one of the biggest differences to me. They both have CarPlay now whereas in 2016 the version of Entune in the SR5 was way crappier. I’m getting the most basic package of an off-road possible which is 38,035. I’m assuming that if your MSRP is up that high then you probably have the convenience package and a couple other things. If those are worth it to you then it’s good. Even if you are meh, it’s still good. Possibly not great if you don’t place much value on those extra items. I like the nicer SR5 rims. There’s no way you’re getting to an off-road for 31.7. If you don’t care much about the difference then it’s totally worth it a four-wheel-drive SR5 performs awesome off road , etc. overall it’s a good to very good deal.

They definitely lost money on that deal, I wouldnt feel like crap, thats is a far from common deal, they must have been desperate or made something somewhere else in that deal. Even if you factor out the rebate its below invoice and eating into hold back. Don't feel bad 99% of us will never get that kind of a deal.

That's definitely a crazy deal, they lost on that one, below invoice and holdback even with the rebate. They must of been desperate or made money somewhere else on that deal. I'm surprised how many people don't realize you can't have both the rebate and financing, this is the case for alot of manufacturers.

Yeah, you're definitely right. Somebody stole that truck. At the time, I just wasn't quite ready to part ways with my Jeep. I'm sure the buyer got hosed in the financing process or somewhere else like you mentioned.

Thank you! I’ve been finding it hard to believe that new car interest rates have not caught up to the rest of the economy.

Bedside decals don't have the shape of the 4x4 ones but simply say TRD Off Road if I can see right that is
