On the corners I have not. I melted one trying, the other I tried running a razor blade along the way and also a finish pry bar, neither worked. I've thought about trying some sort of hot knife, but sealing it back up would be an issue. Someone in here, I forget who, said his aftermarkets just pulled apart.

Finally upgraded to some trd beadlock FJ wheels. Thinkin about possibly painting the silver rim, black. I didn’t think I’d like the look of these as much as I do

I agree with @Fernando on this one. That chrome ring sets off you paint color. Some other color, I might paint also, but with Silver, I think it looks great.

Also, the chrome really helps show the depth to the center cap.

Nice looking truck, but I had a hard time looking at the photo with that terrible green cast. What kind of lighting do you use in that shop? I tweaked at bit it for you.

Those are like gold on eBay. I sold the three remaining ones that I had for $80, 50, and 50. Paid half of the cost of the brand new OEM wheels that bought. Cha-ching.

I bought all three of these for $10. Couldn’t find the fourth one

lol I just took it after we put the wheels on and I was messing with the headlights. It’s actually in a bay at the Toyota body shop that my dad works at and it was after hours so there wasn’t as much light as normal. But thanks for the tune up! I’ll go get some real pictures once the weather clears up and I can get to a more scenic location lol

Anyone got a link or diagram or photo?

It's under the dash, behind (or rather - to the front of the truck) and above the in-cab fuse box. If you turn on the blinker, and reach your hand up in there - above all the bunches of wires that go into the (blue for me) fuse box, you can feel it ticking. You don't even need to remove the lower plastic under the steering wheel, just reach up behind it and you'll find it.

Pull it out and note the orientation as you do, since you're essentially blind as you install the new one.
