    I considered this route, the downside here is that they don’t offer the painted scooped...which adds to the potential issue of paint match from OEM, painted hood and then painting the scoop separately.

    I know some people vinyl wrap it or plasti-dip it to help with any glares. If the hood and scoop don't match, you can always go that route.

    I think that I am going to look into how much a local body shop will charge to paint a hood.

    Has anyone here decided to go that route, and if so, how much did it run you for parts and labor?
