Not if you have bad cell service. The headunit uses the SiriusXM app to play satellite radio.

The Anytime Front/Rear camera kit comes with the controller and the harness that connects to the vehicle harness before the head unit. Numerous people have claimed it only works with factory Entune head units. This is not true. It works just fine with the Android 9 PX5 and PX6 based head units.

The front camera plugs into the supplied harness for the Anytime Camera mod. The rear (factory) camera plugs into the pass through harness for the Anytime Camera mod and then those two harnesses plug into the Android headunit harness. The only thing left is to power the anytime camera mod. My vehicle did not have the third factory harness (this is for a JBL system), but the only thing the third harness is doing is supplying 12V power. You can either build a jumper or tap the power/ground from that harness over to the headunit harness and it works as advertised. If pics are necessary, I post some.

Yes. You can add an aftermarket XM receiver to the Joying or Dasita head units to the Aux in connectors on the back of the head unit harness. You can not use the factory XM tuner, there is no place to plug it into the supplied android harness.

Which anytime setup are you referring to? I did have one of the setups which worked with it entune but seems the Android HU is missing a plug. I was curious if your mentioning the same one. If so it’s good to know about the 3rd plug. I have to dig up the one I gave.

Look at the diagram in the previous post (#1085). There are three plug and play jumpers that come with the controller in the picture. They plug directly into the vehicle harness. the middle (smallest) harness can be used if you have a JBL harness in your vehicle (your original headunit was a JBL Entune unit). If not, cut the smallest harness off where the red and black 12v power wires join into the jumper and connect them to 12V power and ground. I used the 12V power and ground on the Dasita headunit harness. I will grab a picture or tomorrow when I have better light.

Have had this unit awhile. Just upgraded speakers and installed an amp and sub. Is there a setting in the unit to make it switch over to powering up the amp?

Figured out. No power to the remote wire. Going to switch it over to the front camera power tomorrow. Is there still something I need to switch in the HU settings? Or am I good?

Got my amp powered. Used the front camera wire seeing as I have the anytime backup camera system. My wire was gray and said AMP. I'm still not getting any volume from the HU. Is there a setting or something to get it to use the RCA cables instead? What am I missing here? Lol FYI first time I've ever done this. So please be nice lol

I believe you are using an aftermarket amp. Can you show me how you have that wired?

Anyone figured out a good way to run a hotspot in your car for the radio?

I'm using my phone to tether, but I'm pretty sure I'm getting throttled and I have been having problems with connectivity lately.

Iv been looking at special router that can use a sim card but they are kinda pricey and I'm not sure it's really what I'm looking for.

I am running an ATT hotspot in my truck. Plugs into the OBDII port for power.

I have all the extraneous crap turned off on the service. I just use the hotspot, without tethering my phone.
