Didn’t see one on here so thought we should make one.

Current setup is an Anne Pro 2 with MX Cherry Blues. Has an aluminum case and key cap set both from Banggood. Love the keyboard but I wanted one that actually works wirelessly because the AP2 isn’t apple friendly. Ended up buying a Keychron K6 which is hot swappable and have some zealios 67g switches on the way to swap with the blues.

Also won a raffle for an artisan keycap off of reddit call Rhagda Queen of the Leyaks.

Here’s a picture of the key cap

I didn't know mechanical keyboards could be so expansive, nor had I heard about the Anne Pro 2 until now. Your setup looks good and clean, and the Pro 2 looks impressive.

Those keys though that you won... Wild.

How do you like your Q5?

pfftt the Anne Pro 2 is cheap compared to some of the $500+ boards in the mid range. A lot of people have issues with the AP2 with Bluetooth which is why I got the K6. I’m wanting a clean desk setup.

I only won one of those key caps but there’s only 10 ever to be made :) I only got picked because another guy dropped.

I just dug the Q5 out of my closet because I wanted to switch up my topping vx1 that I’ve used for the past 4 years. I finally broke down and bought some Drop Senheiser HD6xx since they were in stock and wanted a new amp to drive them. The Q5 doesn’t have a headphone jack so I bought a banana clip to rca adapter and then rca to 3.5 and it actually worked :D I’m actually using them right now and the Q5 doesn’t need a lot of power to drive these AKG K7xx but sound way better than using the topping vx1.

I'm new to this hobby, like as of yesterday. But I'm stoked. I ordered some Miami Vice keycaps, and a WASD V3 and looking forward to my first mods.

I'm thinking of doing a TRD Pro themed build with the stripes being put into the number pad and maybe some custom keys with mountain graphics or the like. In a bamboo case.

That'd be really cool. I would love to see that TRD theme if you do act on it.

Picked up a Varmilo 108 for work since budget season is upon us. First dive into mechanical keys, so it'll be fun! Looking forward to driving my coworkers up the walls with the MX Blue switches.

Here's my two daily boards right now. Black stealth Realforce TKL for home setup and old school look full size Realforce for work as need the numpad for all the numbers I have to type. Both 45g, tried Topre and absolutely love it so I bought another one for work! Still have a pink Filco TKL with MX blues and Pok3r with MX clears but don't use them anymore. Ignore dirty mouse pad....

I'm looking at split one, https://ergodox-ez.com/pages/customize which i have yet to pull the trigger. I hear it is great for RSI and of course a very fancy mechanical keyboard. I just wished I could try one out before laying down the bacon.

I'm new here, but I'm really excited to see a thread about mechanical keyboards and artisan keycaps! Your current setup sounds really cool - I love the look of aluminum cases and custom keycap sets. And congrats on winning that raffle for the Rhagda Queen of the Leyaks artisan keycap, it looks amazing! I also have an Anne Pro 2 with MX Cherry Blues, but I've been considering switching to a wireless infrared keyboard for more flexibility. I'm not familiar with the Keychron K6, but it sounds like a great option since it's hot-swappable and has a nice variety of switches available. As for artisan keycaps, I recently picked up a couple from a local maker that I'm really happy with.

I decided to go with "Browns" for my home computer. Not quite as loud as Blues...lol

Picked up the ergodox split keyboard. It's pretty great although not quite as loud or clacky as my keychron which I would have to say is probably a better value. Up until recently, they didn't make a split one so I got a smaller one for a smaller desk which is very nice.

Oh, a keyboard thread! I kind of started a keyboard cult at work, got a bunch of my colleagues into mechanical keyboards, including my manager.

My first one was DasKeyboard with cherry blues. Had it for about 5 years now, with Coffee House keycaps from Signature Plastics (matches my Noctua fans).

Nowadays I use Keychron 65% for work with Akko lavender switches (lubed) and Miami Nights keycaps by EnjoyPBT. For my gaming rig I use Glorious TKL with Halo True switches (lubed and with lighter springs) and Night Runner keycaps clones.

Bit of a thread revive, but I just finished putting together my first "real" mechanical keyboard. Came from a G613 and just put together a Keychron Q1 knob with their banana switches. I'm aaaaaabsolutely loving it so far. We'll see how pure white keycaps hold up to my grubby fingers  Also have an epomaker 10 key on the way that I plan on fitting with the leftover switches and keycaps to match and turn into a macropad/editing keypad when I'm not using it as a 10 key.
