I know most here are far from European history and for most it's just another Saturday, but today is the day when fascism fell and the world got better. Western media paints it as a British/American "win", but let's not forget 27 million lives were sacrificed on the eastern front to make this day happen. Today we celebrate 75 years of victory!

Let us never forget about it:cheers::bowdown:

    Happy Victory Day!

Old man style TACO flexing this morning after my turkey hunt! Loading up some seven year old horse manure for my vegetable gardens. My mini talk has always done everything I ask of it almost 10 years now!

VE day was thanks to the Soviets, punching through the German fronts long before the Allies had.

To forget such a tragic war, is to forget every reason why we fought it in the first place...
which sadly there are people who have forgotten and are heading back towards that same extremism again.

lets not forget the 85 million who had died, 27 from the Soviet side, almost 6 of which were the Poles.
    ...we must not forget them

Thanks for the link and your concern!

I am very up-to-date on the regulations and I am fine. I source 90% of my protein by hunting for the last 30 years. I was a professional hunting guide for eight years and my current job as a wildlife manager requires me to possess firearms and we always have one in our vehicles at work.

I am not into assault style rifles however I do feel the pain for rightful owners of these such firearms. I firmly believe that these laws were passed quickly amid the current crisis and the real problem of illegal guns coming into Canada was not addressed to save lives.

    Here's something to ponder……

According to the list you won't be able to use your RPG7 for turkey hunting any more.

I found it so convenient, one shot. Collect the pre-cleaned and cooked turkey nuggets.

Again, look they hit us for duck season with the m203.

Lol Liberals have no clue... shou;d have spent the time and effort on the illegal market. Not wasting all the $ on this "salad" and smoke show.

    Lol I like that point.

The equivalent law would be making racing strips and fart can mufflers punishable with jail time.

Lol Liberals are trying to backpedal on their wording and say trust us.... rofl

As they've worded it, shotguns with a choke are on the list....

They fumbled the ball so bad on this one...

Imagine one day finding out your SUV is now illegal,
You can now not drive it,
Not even on a race track,
Sell it to another licensed and insured car owner,
Give it to your licensed child when you die,
They say trust us we know what we are doing,
But at any point in time you face the possibility of a tactical team at your door,
We might let you keep it in a locked garage,
or might give you some $ for it that we may decide at some point.
    But trust us...
