Finally got wheels and tires on today

 

So....my truck was released from its mid March "quarantine". It was delivered to my door last night at 7:30pm.
I worked all morning to come home after and then spent some time adding accessories I've had stashed for this day.
My wife was all like....."You haven't had it 15 hours and you're already messing with it!"

She knows me all too well.

Now and only now do I feel like a real member here.

 

Sometimes it's nothing more than AstroTurf!

I know what you mean. Day we picked up the Taco we drove it straight to a tint shop to get the windows done then out for a celebratory dinner. Then the 1st weekend I had the door panels off installing Infinity speakers.

 

It let's more air out of the tank allowing for more fluid in the reservoir. About two more cups of fluid. I have a very "buggy" drive and it helps.

 

Installed my MESO TRD Start Stop button today.

New tires, Falken AT3s in the SL 265 75 16 on stock SR5 suspension, looks and rides great

 

I was bored and the weather was so unspeakably disgusting out I decided to get supplies to make some better splash guards for the wheel wells. I found the idea on the Ontario BS thread. I did both sides for $15 Including a paint pen to trace the outline. Huge shout out to @Shveet for posting the download for TW. Here is the thread of anyone’s interested https://www.tacomaworld.com/posts/21190925. Going to put them on tomm once I get some fasterners.

 

I’m just finishing up some clay bar and about to polish in prep for some ceramic.

Trying to get most of it done tonight. I have a 10 hour drive tomorrow to go pick up a prinsu rack.

Correctly wired up the 2nd red wire coming from the CH4x4 OEM style Ditch Light switch. I ran out of time during the ditch light install.
