I just looked, thought I had a new set, backup resistor/connector in the garage but no.
Im remembering giving it to my almost stepson who was having the same issue now srry.

Just have you bro jumper it,
Those pins dont like to stay in once that connector is melted.
    He'll know what to do.

Have fun dont bonk your head.

Nope I have the old and new resistor kit so if they don't work we'll grab a blower motor from down the street.

The blower motor did not trash the resistor. On high speed the resistor is bypassed this is a long time issue with all most every vehicle manufacturer they draw a lot of current any weak connection is going to get hot. When you add a resistor in the wiring it adds the the current draw of the motor.

We put new resistor and connector back in, worked after tapping on dash. I'll probably order a new blower and attempt to put it in myself when it gets here. He says its 3 bolts so hopefully I can handle it.

I had my entire blower motor replaced at cost of just $80 to make a noise go away; The A/C and heat seem to blow harder than they did before, but the noise is still there...

Could my resistor still be the problem?
