I didn’t know you could do that. I assume the previous posters Texas credit union might be the same situation as far as residency. If so I’ll check into that method. My current rate from 2016 is 1.9 through Capital One. Didn’t get anything special, the finance guy just beat my credit union.

Similar deal pre covid (late feb) and did not use or have the big rebate (took special financing instead at the time).

$39.2k ($44.8k MSRP), 2.9% @60 months with TFS, Naperville Toyota, IL

I am currently looking at a 2020 SR Access Cab v6 4x4 and was quoted $29,721 (MSRP: $33,908). I've been reading these SR models can be had for a lot less compared to the TRD packages, especially at the end of the month when dealers are scrambling to clear off their lots.

What price point should I be aiming for on a 2020 SR Access Cab v6 4x4?

10-12% off MSRP prior to rebates, 12-15% off with rebate.

Just found a new 2020 Taco 4x4 OR in voodoo blue with a 6ft long bed, tech package, all-season mats/door liner, LED headlight package, and premium package w leather seats and sunroof etc, for 41.5k before taxes and fees. Does that seem like a fair price?

Edit: MSRP is $44,483, discount is about $3k, and I would take the 0% financing over the current $1750 offer. So out the door with 9% tax and fees would be a bit over $45k.

Got one priced out (Canada). Any thoughts?

MSRP: $43,750 which includes Tonneau, tailgate lock, all weather mats, gas, one free service
    AC tax: $100
    Finance Charge: $295
    Doc Fees: $595
    Advance Disposal Fee: $25
    Freight: $1,840

    Total: $46,605 CDN ($33,247.73 USD)

    Invoice is $40,369 CDN

There will also be $5,500 CDN in taxes on top of that but I know that varies by State/Province.

If you don't need the double cab, you could get the long bed with access cab. How often to you haul people in your truck? If this doesn't make sense it's because it's Saturday and Ive been painting all day and I'm a lightweight 4 beers in. Probably shouldn't even post. wth, edit. Oh yean I love having the long bed, see my posts in the Working tacos thread.

10-12% without the rebate is a good deal, I'd push for closer to 10% at least, a few of us were able to get 12% off MSRP without rebates on similar trucks, but I know inventory is drying up so dealers are less likely to deal.

Yes, I was looking at the access cab, but my wife really pushed back on it as it is very uncomfortable for anyone older than 5 that needs to sit back there. Personally I thought it may be an advantage, thinking that it would work for me and the dog, and I wouldn't always end up as the designated driver! I plan on getting a roof rack to haul the extra gear I would normally be able to get in the bed, and I think it will work okay.

We have another vehicle so we just haul people in that when the occasion arises. Everyone's situation is different for sure. When we had small children and went camping in our 96 ranger, kids were fine back there in the jump seats until the 4th grade growth spurt happened.

    21 grand US?
    Double cab?
    That’s roughly 155,000 miles

Should that be in the US I would probably pay a touch more and get a lot less miles- But like taco buffet said I don’t know what your availability is like up there and 150 isn’t much on a Tacoma
