Depends on what you’re looking to spend.

Don Julio 1942 is really good. But can get very expensive.
Patron Anejo isn’t bad especially if you like other patrons.
Clase Azule Reposado Is good it has sort of a sweet taste and the bottle is very cool.

 

What type is best for sipping? Reposado? I got a bottle of this silver stuff cuz it was on sale for more than half off for 20 bucks. Figured If it’s not great for sipping it’ll be good for margs.
Let’s say I’m willing to spend 40-50 for a bottle for sipping. What’s in that range?

 

Reposado or Anejo are meant more for sipping or really good cocktails. Blanco (silver) is not aged so it’s the most raw. A good tequila shouldn’t taste like drinking gasoline.

Try out the Last two I mentioned, if you can find the Don Julio 1942 for a decent price some time you should try that. I’ve seen it go from $100 to well over $200. Also Don Julio Anejo should be right in the $50 range and is really good.

 

Quick fun burgers tonight. Topped with provolone cheese, bacon, potato sticks, lettuce and bbq sauce to finish. Came out good with himemade potato wedges.

 

Don Julio is really good too. I enjoy some Cabo Wabo - Sammy Hagar stuff too.

Yes I’ve had Casamigos and was never really impressed with it. Ive had better cheap tequilas. Im waiting for my bottle of Dwayne Johnson’s new Tequila to come in on Monday. Its called Teramana I tried the blanco and it was pretty decent but they were out of Reposado which is what I ordered for Monday.

 

Ya some of the Cabo Wabo stuff is pretty good. Sammy sold it some years back for like $1b I think it was. Him and Michael Anthony have a new one coming out soon I think.

So just sent out another batch of masks earlier. Was doing some accounting on it and figured out over 600 of them have gone out with another 75-100 in the next few days going. Kinda of cool to think I originally was looking to do 50-100 total.

 

Checked the other stuff. Stuff is damn expensive haha. Not sure I want to get that deep down the tequila rabbit hole. I already spend enough on beer

 

The Don Julio Anejo should be right around $50 for ya. It’s good stuff. If it’s much over that then it’s Cali getting its 50 pounds of flesh.
