That’s the reality at my house too. My oldest daughter has been crying a lot about having everything canceled.

 

Thanks Mike. It's been really tough for her. She turned 18 in January and was eyeing the end of her high school career. Then BOOM! No prom, no traditional graduation, no last orchestra concert (she's played the violin since the 3rd grade), no last senior orchestra dinner at a local winery (annual event), no last senior goodbye get together for her gifted writing class that she's been with for 4 years. The list goes on. She's cried herself dry the last few weeks.

 

Cancelled for now..
Nothing says you can’t have a prom next hear....

It kills you as a father.

 

Turned 50,000 kms on Thursday. Pulled front wheels off to inspect pads,installed missing pad return springs(thanks Toyota) and lubed slider pins.
Stops smoother and seems to roll smoother..some of it might be my imagination but defiantly feels different.
Picked up more parts for the rx7.

I check my slide pins at each tire rotation....every 5k.

 

Mine are lucky if I remember they exist! And at least you know her date will have her home by 10 pm!

I can also say, as a former French horn player, pomp and circumstance for a half hour (felt like) is not all it's cracked up to be. No second horn to swap out with, myself and the trumpet player both had numb lips by the end.

Sure does. I have three daughters and when they struggle, I struggle right along with them.

 

That's great what you did for your daughter. I'm sure she really appreciates it! She looks beautiful.
So many teens are in the same situation. l feel so bad for all of them. But at least she and her friends are safe. Maybe they can all have a party or get together when all this is over with.

My Wet Okole seat covers were waiting for me when I got home. Just in time...

They look fantastic though! And fit the couch pretty nicely if I do say so myself.

 

Same for my 18 year old GrandDaughter. They may have a graduation for them in June. But NO prom, No Cheerleading banquet etc. We will have a big party for all her Friends before She goes away to college but it's just not the same as a prom.
