Lol don’t be, it’s not fun. Even after doing 4 sets it’s still a 3ish hour install. Whenever you’re ready though, remind me and I’ll give you my expedited version of install instructions.

I mimicked the Kuat swing out as much as possible, and then essentially replaced the 2x2 square tube that goes into your receiver with 1/4" 2x2. I marked the holes where the pivots are, used a hole saw the same size as the brass bushings, and then bolted back together. PM me if you want some more info and I can give u my number and we can chat. It only increased the bike rack length ~4 inches so I can still park in the garage with it on and folded up.

nice! I have a version that doesn’t require taking your front wheel off I’m announcing soon. Just gotta make a thread about it lol

I just have a hitch on my swingout that I used.

It was just such a long setup

Ahhh man! I totally found your swing out one google images and debated just making a full swing out like you did that I could put the bike rack on. Same issue tho, I didn't want it sticking out so far. Now that I see that pic I am glad I went the route I did hahah, that puppy is long hahah. Hella sick swing out tho.

Thanks! It’s a Mobtown offroad bumper with a hitch mount welded on and the swingout reinforced.

It was cool but not as great as I thought it was going to be, Hence the SideRide!

looks like the inspector is checking it over, did he pass it?[/QUOTE]

I like the new version, that would work great! Good work man:)

Have you toyed with the idea of a quick release option for those 1" square tubes, so in the winter you can remove them? Even just a good sized bolt with a knob that goes vertically through the tube and screws into a nut welded onto the underside of the plate. I know my dumbass would run into those bars all the time when a bike rack isn't attached and they are just sticking out haha.

Quality work tho man, I'm digging the ingenuity.

Oh, and I barely passed inspection haha

There was just a touch of sarcasm in that comment, though i'm really excited to get it done just so that it's done.

And thanks, i'll definitely take you up on that when the time comes. My all new suspension will probably be here by next weekend. The big question for me is do I wait till the hangers and flip kit arrive and install it all at once or do I install new coils, shocks and leafs, then take the rear end apart again in a month or two. Those lead times are killer. :playball:

SO MANY FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS. :sadviolin:

Do it separately. To install the HH the leafs stay in place so the only work you’ll be doing twice is the u bolts, but that’s easy. This way you’ll be able to see the distinct improvement from only the HH vs doing multiple things at once and wonder what exactly causes the nicer ride quality. My .02 anyways.

Yeah that's what my lack of patience was telling me too. Also, with the lockdown going till June here in Washington, there just isn't anything to do but work on my truck. Lol

Have you had any issues with the air intake mod? I've been thinking about doing this mainly because I want to trim the fenders without leaving tabs to re-hang the fender liner. But also, who knows how deep the water will get here in the pnw this fall. This is my first ORV. I plan to thrash it a bit.

Got some Reflectix from Lowes today. IMG_2250.jpg

Had the girlfriend help measure and cut. The idea is to use the sticky back velcro on the Reflectix to velcro it to the carpeted inside of my cap.
    IMG_2251.jpg
The finished product turned out great! with some sunshine left in the day it is pitch black inside! IMG_2252.jpg
