"Luckily" the hardware stores have reopened today. Earlier this week, I sat in the Home Depot parking lot for an hour waiting for four cans of Tremclad semigloss black. What a waste of time.

I cancelled an order with HD a little while ago after over a week wait/late for curbside pickup...
Even Canadian Tire that said next day after 12, I'm now passing the 5 day mark....
Amazon is about a week or two for a lot of things...

I got all giggity the other day when I found a box of drywall screws at the shop...

Ordering online now is a waiting game. When I see the Home Depot guy come out with a shopping cart with only one order and then have to go in and get another, drives me insane. Grab 3 or 4 at the same time! Let's get moving people! Geez.

Wanted to order some PB blaster from Can tire - Because PB blaster is hazardous you can not add it to a cart hence it can not be curbsided - Ug... Oh well Monday ..

All 4 HD/Can tire / Lowes orders I have made over these weeks have been an absolute exercise in futility

I did two orders with HD, 3 weeks apart. Both were available for pickup the next day. Was your item in stock at the store location to begin with?

Amazon has been 2-3 weeks for each order. Longest was a phone: order placed Mar 26, shipped Apr 18.

It was just paint and trim pieces...brad nails... drywall... screws. Said it was in stock...

Going to try again next week with the home delivery option.

They seem to be faster with a forklift vs a shopping cart.

I had an order for 1.5 and 2.5" Robertson in (the 200 and 500 PC respectively) and 3 packages of hooks - For 3 days it sat - I called the store and after 74 rings someone picked up - asked for the order number and then said -"Wow how did that happen" keys clicking in the background - then said you will see an email to pick up any moment Sir - And I did get one 30 seconds later.

Only 5 days, eh? April 22 I ordered some gloves from Canadian Tire for curbside pickup. It still is listed as “in progress”. I called the store yesterday. They said they have been very busy and would fill the order as soon as possible.

Lol I'm afraid to call, just steady busy signals,
other days if it does ring well you have to just keep letting it ring...
then some poor person answers the phone sounding like they are half crying....
you can tell they are suffering from Karen overload...

Not the first time I've had to hurry up and wait....

You did maintain the 6 foot social distance during this activity?

We responsibly maintained 6 foot distance. I was responsibly documenting all the work Peter was doing from the distance :spy::boink:

I called Princess Auto and ordered something and it was ready in 30m min. I placed an online order at CT for 4 items that were all in stock at my local store and it took 5 days. Today I went to Ace and walked right in, needed a 19mm wrench.

Today I installed my Fox 2.0s on the front of my truck. I'm now 2" higher in the front.

I had to take my sway bar off though because when removing the connector from the driver side to install the coilovers, the hex inside stripped and I couldn't get it to tighten anymore. The passenger side came off okay, but the driver side wouldn't let go. I guess a trip to the Toyota parts counter is in my future. Until then, I'll have to take it easy on the corners.

Any suggestions for a good alignment shop in the Acton Georgetown area?
