    These Dirka's were insurgents until the surge took effect and we were doing a massive city clearing mission and Petraeus came in and paid them to switch sides. They showed us where they placed IED's, fighting positions, yada yada. Fing Bastards!

    not really... it's my job to convey information to the commander so he can make a decision... and powerpoint does a really good job of doing just that.

    Before powerpoint it was map boards, projectors, and grease pens...

    maintenance. I've had to fly on her a few times and i believe i would not be able to handle being aircrew on an e-3 no matter how cold it is out on the flightline!

    especially when you're on the ground waiting for that goofy plane to land so you can get on with your day!
