Hey everyone! I have been hiding in the shadows am getting ready to pull the trigger on a 2020 Tacoma OffRoad DCLB (probably in Voodoo Blue) with the premium package and LED lights in the next 2 months but wanted to know your opinion on favorite must-haves and modifications you have enjoyed. I'm starting to get a list going so I can price out and compare and plan and see what you have compared to what I've found.

In no order, the modifications I've found that I want are:
    Lift and suspension (3-4ish inches)
TAKO2 Tires (either 285/70/17 or 285/75/17... aware of needing a CMC mod as well)
fuel nitro rims D667 in black with a -12mm offset
    regearing (4.88?)
I like Victory 4x4's front Strike bumper with the tubing and light bar
    Skid plate
A roof rack (prob something cheapish with Amazon)
    nerf bars (rough country)
    fenders
    sport hood with the scoop
    MESO middle/upper tail light
    OVTUNE twin turbo
exhaust and air filter + tune (depending on turbo set up recommendations)
    grill and raptor lights
    black out decals
    tinted mirror blinkers
    sound system
tonneau cover and some sort of bed liner/protection
    gas/throttle mode switch

Any ideas or insight would be appreciated- Thanks!

Yeah, I know how that goes and am aware of how the wallet is hit. I did a bunch of modifications on my motorcycle as well, but I like changing it up to make it "mine". Also, this isn't something I'm going to do all at once. It will be done over time but I just wanna know what are some cool ideas and what others like, for a truck I haven't experienced yet

265/75/R16 BFG KO2's on Akuza 359 wheels - Sport Hood Conversion - Trail Gear 60" Rock Sliders - Rola Roof Rack - Custom Front Recovery Points - Hella 500 fogs - Flowmaster 50 series - Smoked Tails - Clear Corner & Turn Lenses - 5% Tint - GT Exact Seat Covers - Kenwood DVD & Alpine Speakers.
With all the extra weight your adding to the truck and possibly running 34's (285/75/17) with Fuel wheels(heavy) you probably should be leaning more towards 5.29's over the 4.88's. Just based on everything I've read on the subject... Thats a pretty long mod list too. Can't wait to see it come together! Super pumped to get my 2020/21 :taco:!

I agree, why put $60k into a new truck that you will be lucky to be able to get $30k for when done. Purchase an older Tacoma and mod-away.

so bummer news i'm not too sure what to do about- The dealership I signed the truck with was getting it from another dealership in idaho, and said they would send it down here between friday 5/15 and today 5/20 so I can get it. After failing to call me back on promised dates to keep me updated on when it would arrive, it turns out that after they approved me the loan and signed the VIN to me and gave me all the paperwork, they still sold that truck to someone else local who drove away with it... so now they hit my credit for nothing, my 90 days of no payment is counting down, and even if they find a different truck it will have different accessories and so we will probably have to revisit the loan amount while I sit here with no truck, because they are struggling to find another and with them keeping me completely in the dark and not updated. The dealership said they would call friday 5/15 and didnt so I called them late friday right before they closed and he said he would call me monday 5/18 but didnt. I waited until today to call and now he said he would call me tomorrow after talking to the inventory manager to try to find something else. How do I make them make this situation right?

Huh? Sounds like all you did was fill out an application for loan thru the dealership...if you did in fact buy this particular vehicle you would be in receipt of the yellow copy of the purchase and sale agreement “the sales invoice” without that you didn’t buy shit and have no recourse with them.

I told them that, but they said because toyota has been closed for the virus they have not been building them, and they are selling them too quick to keep stock anywhere
