@Beer:30 ”a.m. stout” this is my favorite of the 3 you sent me. Nice roasty profile. A very good, no nonsense stout.

Why, thank you. I am drinking one now, as well. This, to me, is a perfect stout. Nice and roasty with just a hint of smoke. Moderate caramel sweetness without being overbearing. And enough bittering to let you know it's not messing around. 6.6% ABV.

Well, this one is interesting. Tastes better than it looks, but not sure I'd want another. Check out that ingredients list...

I think his might be better overall, but still not exactly what I am looking for. I am going to work on another soon and hopefully get a little closer to my desired taste.

Do you get any caraway? That would be the one thing in that beer that I wouldn’t care for.

It got better as the taste of breakfast left my pallet. I really enjoyed this one. There’s not a lot of good adjunct free stouts these days.

Not really. Mostly what I got was the juniper berries. Very piney in the finish.

Had a brew day and got to play with some new toys. Trying a Belgian Witbier with a few added spices. Wondering if I should have crushed the coriander seeds seeing how they're just floating there. And it's not as dark as it looks in the pic.
    IMG_3176.jpg
And new toys to play with. Hoping it'll at least be a good learning tool for me.
