So this should work then with the stock trd wheels as well right? Did you have run spacers or anything?

Just starting out, give me time
Is anybody running this setup with airbags also? Does this still work for a lifted taco?

    Starting....
    Questions:
    1. Trimming seems to be directly connected to tire width/size, when you say 'minor' trimming what are we talking about?
    2. I'm adding HS 3-Leaf AAL's with my Eibach Pro LK. I am hoping that it doesn't rub and doesn't shimmy. What made you decide to go with 1.5" blocks instead of an AAL system?

    Thanks!

Are you planning to run 285s on the stock TRD wheels? Im not sure on the offset of the stock wheels but Id imagine its close to 0?

I did not run spacers. I had considered it if the tires ended up not sitting flush with my fenders, but they actually stick out past them a bit. Thats also with an 8.5” wheel, and I believe stock wheels are 7”. So I would imagine you should be just fine with those wheels. If anything youd have to remove the mudflaps since the 285s are some beefy bois.

275 is the biggest I'd go with a 7" rim.

Yes i plan on running the stock wheels 16 TRD wheels with the same tires that you have. Luckily i dont have mud flaps so i dont think that should be an issue. And yes i do believe that the stocks wheels are 0 offset.

    I'm running 285 70 17 with 0 offset. No trimming at all. I rub when I added 1.25 spacers

rides excellent. can’t compare to the first notch since I haven’t ran it that way. Love how it rides compared to stock.

Finally got my kit installed. Well at least half way, I got the fronts done yesterday. Pretty straight forward install but freeing the tie rod with a hammer was PITA (I wished I knew about the pullers). I netted around 2.5" inches on bottom clip w/ 1/4" spacer for the taco lean. It's pretty much even on driver and passenger side. I tried installing the rear today thinking it would be a quick job but man what a nightmare. I couldn't remove the top bolt from the shock, used a vice grip at the top and tried to loosen the bolt but eventually I ran out of real estate from keeping the shaft from spinning. I even tried using the vice grip right on the shaft but no luck. Pretty much gave up today and will try to tackle it next weekend. Probably end up cutting it off but there's gotta be a more civilized way of removing this. I wonder if @Ryan at Eibach can chime in on this.

What are you guys using for the 1/4 inch spacer??
My taco lean is super pronounced now that I installed my wheels and tires.
I will not be doing a lift just yet.

I actually went with this one. Came out to be around $15 shipped and it arrived just in time when I was going to do the front install. This was spot on.

So I should order two? One for the front and one for the rear? Or is it only one, for the front?

Wheels and tires should be going on within the next day or two. I have my Ray10s in the bed of my truck just waiting for my local tire shop to call. I can’t wait. Still loving the Eibach setup, but ready to say goodbye to the stock wheels and tires. I’ll also be installing my ECGS bushing later this week or early next. 99C0624A-292E-4821-BE15-22F5566B5B29.jpg
