that’s why I had to upgrade mine. Just didn’t lift it fast enough or high enough for the frequency In which I use it these days.
@DanishTaco even snagged up my 3 ton jack stands with it so I have an excuse to go buy taller ones

haha no dicks but I did get my AC resistor in so I’m definitely going to do that work tonight or tomorrow. Start playing elimination until I figure out what part(s) are bad.

yeah I decided last night I definitely going to get some headers soon and that will probably wrap it up for me on performance mods. Then I’ll do a couple more “offroad” mods. I’m going to change most my funds and efforts over to getting a teardrop camper and fixing it to be all terrain soon though.

so my pop has been in law enforcement for 30+ years. He always said two things about speed.
    1. If you keep it under 11 over the limit on multi-lane roads you should never be bothered by police as long as you’re doing it safely.
    2. If a law enforcement vehicle is driving over the limit, they don’t care if you follow along. They get tired of waiting behind people all the time. So I always get in behind an officer, but if they realize they’re speeding and thus slow down, you better slow down with them.

lastly, here is a tip for you to prevent yourself from getting a ticket. If pulled over AND carrying, pull the truck over in a manner where the tail end of your truck protects the officer from on coming traffic. Encourage them to walk the shoulder to your passenger side. Then roll all your windows and make everyone’s hands visible on approach. Then politely tell the officer you have a concealed firearm in the vehicle and ask him how he/she would like to proceed.
No joke... I have never gotten a ticket using this method. And I have a folder of photos I take EVERYTIME I’m pulled over that passed 100+ a long time ago lol

Got a few more things done on the truck today! Painted the bolts/washers holding on the rear flaps

Got my warrantied boost gauge in and installed it with the Lotek pillar mount

painted my wheels silver like on the 2010ish T4R trail editions. Also took the center caps off and painted the hubs on the front since they were rusting. I am digging the silver way more than the grey

Tire w/o wheel is the new silver next to the old grey

We were. Water is colder than you'd think and there are crowds the first 18 miles. 25-30 miles down or so and it finally starts thinning out.

    For sure!
    Such a PITA.
Pretty certain the wif broke her wrist though. Now we're at the ER in Corpus.
