What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Got home from a climbing trip and had this on my doorstep so I spent the rest of the night installing everything. Quick and easy mod that’ll save some time and hassle in the future.

 

Got my topper hoist installed today. Lifted her off so I could pull the caps off the bed rails and seal between them. Hopefully it will cut down on the dust inside the cap.

 

What’s going to be running off the bluesea fuse block?

I see that all the time. My carrier says its a "bug" in their system, but I know their routes are GPS monitored (he says he can't stay in one spot for more than the allocated time and he can't backup!). I agree that it has to do with efficiency reporting and seems to happening more often in recent weeks.

 

Added a sub and amp... had to make the box myself, couldn't find anything "cheaper" that fit properly..

 

I’ll run power for my camper shell off of it for an inverter. The amount out slots on it is overkill for my setup, but it’s what was in the kit and really isn’t much of a price difference from the 6 slot style.

 

Painted my ajt keyfob today.

I know you were asking him but just thought I’d throw in what I did
I used an oscillating tool on mine. Didn’t get too hot and zipped right through it with out having to do too much clean up. But like the other guy said, edge trim covers it up nicely.

 

Been a couple months since I did it but I installed a Baja designs fog light kit in my 19. Meant to post a DIY but never got around to it.

I just kept going until I didn’t see black anymore. Probably 4 or 5? About half a can overall? Not really sure, it was a while ago.

Primarily purchased it for hood protection. But you know, that's an excellent question. It was on the colder side here in NC last week so I think most of the bugs stayed home. Plan to get it out on the highway next weekend and it is supposed to be significantly warmer. The conditions may be about right. I'll try to remember to make a mental note and reply with my observations.

 

Installed the @CaliRaisedLed channel supports today. Simple to install, wish I’d have done it sooner.
