Has anybody used a ball joint press to get uniballs out?

 

Yes. I just did this a week ago or so. I put the ball joint press in a table vice and then used the total Chaos tools (or big sockets) to push out the old and in with the new.

 

upper or lower? I was hoping that I’d not have to remove the UCA if i was using a balljoint press

 

So maybe someone can help but people on base keep telling me about some beach I. The Tacoma/Seattle area? Where you can drive a truck on the beach etc? Anyone tell. Me what's the name of the state park?

 

You're gonna have to go out to the coast to drive on the sand. Long Beach is one you can drive on, there might be others.

If you are just looking to cruise the beach on a street than that is Rustin in Tacoma or alki in seattle

Uppers and they were out of the truck. With a couple extra hands you might be able to line up the parts without removing the UCA.

 

I’ll try it, and the struggle by doing them installed will take as long as taking them out

 

Ocean shores. Like 90 minutes from post. Do yourself a favor and stay out of the wet sand. No one wants to see a taco go surfing

Check out the north west section of this site. Also I have next week off but am helping with a project that should only take a day or two and I'd be willing to peddle some sand or try and find some trouble during the week

 

Ok. Is it illegal to sleep on the beach? In the back of a pick-up?

 

I've seen some camping happening but not 100%.

Edit: just looked it says you need to be in a designated camping area no beach camping allowed. I do know of wilderness camping off the 101 on beaches but you park and hike to it

"Technically" any public land "camping" is off limits. My plan (if caught) was to say I wasn't camping, just sleeping. YMMV. Fuck em
