    Yeah. It's a passenger drop case mounted to a W56 trans. That's 85 to 95 tech. Toyota switched to a driver drop on the Taco.

    Ah okay. Makes sense. I’ve seen that with JDM Diesel engine, trans and transfer case set up on eBay.

    There was someone on TW that did a 1KZ swap and used the transfer case out of a Toyota Surf from Malaysia. It had AWD, center diff lock, so 4hi, 4lo, 2hi, 2lo and AWD.

    I think that’s roughly how it went. It was a while ago.
