Just bought $700 of NAIL and $300 of CCL. That’s all the settled funds I have for today, hopefully the market treats me good

And I bought 112 more shares of MITI bc I had $2.94 left over to trade. Is that a good strategy? Any small amounts of settled funds you have to invest in penny stocks?

Yes, unless you have to pay transaction fees each time. TD went from free to $6.95 on me the other day, but that might only be OTC transactions.

I'm buying more NRGU and MITI today.

That’s pretty high. I just checked this website, thankfully Schwab doesn’t have any. I didn’t even think to look before buying MITI

I agree, but this means tons more people have contracted the virus in a second wave, or they are still in the first wave and things just arent getting better. I dont see them reporting new cases if there are none though.

Eh. I think at this point, people are finally accepting a fact: It's a new virus and people can and will die from it. To end the world and stop everything from turning is not going to happen, I think leaders and business owners and even regular joe schmo's like us are starting to say :notsure:

    :burnrubber:

    GIDDY UP.

So yeah bad news it's back in a place it already was and there are new cases happening and etc etc etc. I think we're starting to see (1) it's not nearly as deadly as people were originally thinking/scared of and (2) even with that, people are starting to say "oh well, if this 85 year old in a nursing home didn't get the 'rona, they'd get something else in 3 months, or just up and die, not like they're at risk from wrecking their Harley tomorrow"

So I do think we're going to see some people die, I think the markets and gubments are going to say "oh well, cost of doing business, way more people are dying from other stuff every day, we aren't shutting down" this time, leave home at your own risk, etc etc.

Also, not to get too political about it, say what you will about everything, I think we'll see Cuomo make a bid for the big cheese in maybe 2024.

Don't forget that China blamed the U.S. military for bringing the disease there, and they also started listing a lot of their new cases as imported from other places (as if they weren't transmitting it to each other).

South Korea also back in play. https://www.npr.org/sections/corona...ew-coronavirus-cases-after-nightclub-outbreak

Kinda per @taco-houla's comment - people die every day. Look at annual traffic fatalities. We could eliminate nearly all of those by reducing speed limits to 10mph, and banning tractor trailers in favor of rail and box trucks. Yet we don't do that. Why? Because society as a whole finds a balance between overall societal benefit and individual tragic loss. We'll eventually find a similar equilibrium with this thing I imagine.

Well that's the whole BS of this whole thing. Again, not to be political about it, but the US started blaming China in some roundabout way that it's China's fault that the world got it, etc etc. -- listen, if it is manufactured, sure blame them,:der: but it wasn't. At least I don't buy that it was manufacured. Anyway, so yeah, everyone's blaming the Chinese gubment for something, talking about financial repercussions, etc etc. which is just unreasonable and xenophobic. So yeah, now that they're digging in, China can spew some BS too and instead say "Oh yeah it broke out here, but it was brought by the US so it's their fault", etc etc etc - on and on it goes. :goingcrazy::goingcrazy::goingcrazy:

WHO IS up on stonks today? Waiting for my RCL to hit my limit to sell and then I'll probably duck out of monopoly money for a while, keep my ETFs/investments going (and maybe hop those over to self directed instead of betterment!) the whole time but probably jump out of playing around with FUN and cruise lines etc.

Actually - same boat as my regular investments, I might start "self directing" my ROTH account too, it's also with the betterment.
