Nah I'm just being dramatic, basically the whole countries rail system is sectioned and owned by different people, it was built as an afterthought compared to roads, and is miserable. If we invested in a good rail system, we'd dramatically cut down the shipping needs of all the big rigs on the roads, be way more efficient, etc. Europe, China, Japan, they've got rails figured out and we should be stepping up to invest in that, rather than constantly repairing our roads because of constant use by big rigs in the winter, constant salt damage (looking at Maine, here) from the winters, etc. If we didn't have 50k lbs going down pavement, the rails could handle it all, with minor distribution centers along the way.

It depends, when was a purchase made? I bought some shares this morning while the market was down, and now somehow it's up. Pure luck though!

WTF I went and looked, we were -200 pts this morning and now we're at, well, +0.98 but still, +???

More than speculation in the market, I love watching the headlines automatically change from "Dow down after up tick as investors weary about economy reopning" and then 5 minutes later "Dow up since investors are optimistic" - same source, hell sometimes the same article link, just different. I know it's part of finance and news cycles, etc etc. I just find it funny.

They look for news after the market makes its moves so they can act like they know why it moved. I also find it hilarious.

Sorry off-topic but y’all are a diffeent breed of people and I trust your opinions:D

I’m one of the directors at the company I work for and I’m thinking about planning an offroad trip to a easy-medium technical trail with co-workers. One of the other directors has a rubicon that has yet to see any dirt. I’m friends with a few of them but most I’m just co-worker friends with. Is this a good idea? One of my employees/friends says it would be a good idea. Work culture is pretty lax and friendly here

Lolol happens to the best of it. Back when I had a 1st gen, i spun out on a perfectly flat dirt road and ran into an embankment. Dented my bull bar but dented my pride even more, 5 friends saw me do it:rofl:

    We play golf sometimes.

Out of pocket for the greens fees of course, but we talk about work... :anonymous:

Riiiight “work” lol we went to top golf one time during work hours. Surprisingly they paid all the fees. Tried to limit us to 1 alcoholic beverage but we hadn’t used the entire $300 budget yet so some got a bit more...nothing says team building like breaking corporate rules lol
