Just spoke with Austin telco. They said the vehicle has to be registered in Texas. I need to find something like this in South Carolina.

After spending hours on here and telling my dad to make an offer at 10-11% off, he fell for the salesman's tactics and only got 6% off msrp. Whatever, not my money

I think I did okay, maybe average after reading some of these. A 2020 super white TRD SPORT 4X4 Loaded, 39K w/ Incentives, 43.285 OTD.

Picked up my TRD PRO Friday-about $1500 off MSRP. Can’t complain, and it’s manual too !! Looks good next to my 16 yr old 4Runner!

Bah, I still can't find a premium package TRD Off Road Short Bed 4x4 in Cement. I've tried pretty much all of CA, AZ, and NV. I found one but they want MSRP for it. Hard pass!

Waiting till June 25 to get mine. Didn’t seem so bad at the time but it’s starting to grind on me after a few weeks of waiting.

I just talked to my buddy at Toyota. He said Tacoma's are flying off the shelves. With the somewhat relaxed credit requirements (690) for 0%, a buyers who were on the fence are buying Tacoma's up.

Mid-April purchase. 2020 SR5 4x4 DCLB 3.5L in Midnight Black. $37,028 MSRP. Vehicle sale price after incentive ($1500) and discounts ($3411) was $32,157. So just over 13% off MSRP and feel good about my price for the market. It came with just a few options including the black alloys (which I think look great on the truck), and wheel locks.

Got fair deal on trade and overall very good experience at Tonkin Toyota (Portland.) Went through USAA, and Tonkin offered me the best price in the PDX/Vancouver area on a truck that fit my needs and had the long bed option that I liked.

    Stock for now
Purchased a 2020 Toyota Tacoma, 4 door, TRD off-road, 6 spd manual, 4x4 in cement for 38k out the door (6% sales tax in KY) with 0.0% financing. That included predator steps, chrome exhaust tip, wheel locks, bed tie downs and all weather mats

I’m stoked with the truck after 250 miles. I had daily driven a 01 Toyota Tundra, trd off-road, access cab, 2wd for the past 4 years

I have been using the used Tacos at local dealers as my canary in the mine. So I have been watching used '19 and '20 Tacos at dealers in my home state NC. Specifically trying for similar packages for TRD ORs just to have apples to apples comparisons. I am seeing softening. For instance, one with low mileage I talked to them a week and a half ago. They told me it was "priced to move" and had little wiggle room but could take only a couple hundred bucks off the sticker. Now they cut the sticker $1200 about 10 days later. This time when we talked they backed off another $600.

Too early to tell, but used Tacos would I thought would be the leading indicator that softening is coming and there appears to be some initial downward price movement, at least near where I live. I'll keep monitoring.

I've been surprised that the softening has been so slow considering the magnitude of the cashflow impact [reduction] suffered by US consumer. Also visible on equity pricing - but that is for different reasons. Hopefully this is evidence of the public keeping it together... BUT it makes me nervous about a sudden collapse (a burst?) in the case of a panic initiated by a second infection 'boom' now that many states are opening up while their infections remained on the rising part of the curve...

Its hard to say exactly how it would play out because there is no precedent for what is happening now. And no one (including me) knows what is going to happen. But my general sense is that the broad public is still not grasping exactly how challenging the probability distribution for the economy is over, say, the next year. And it goes beyond mainstreet: financial markets look overvalued right now under all but the rosiest scenarios going forward.

And I agree with you: when a darker reality becomes apparent to folks, it could be a bad assed day.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
Sales are down ~8% compared to this time last year. Not too bad...Tundras down almost 14%. Avalon sales down almost 40% and Yaris almost 70%!

Hey guys I’m new to the forum and I am currently negotiating for an access cab 4 cylinder. Offer is $25,000 + 6.25% and $500 for TTL with rebate or.....$28,000 + 6.25% and $500 TTL at zero interest. Any guidance is much appreciated!

Just picked up a 2020 MG TRD sport, long bed with a manual 6 speed. Got it down to 36 out the door. Bought it on the 30th of April. Figured last day of the quarter and they’re pushing for numbers. Pretty stoked to finally grab a taco!
