Agreed. I think the companies like ProCharger and Harrop who were developing supercharger kits had their ear. Can't blame them. But I do agree.. I hope they continue their progress with the 2TR. I'm dying to tune them.

 

Yeah it only makes sense to follow that avenue from a business perspective. And me too, i'd love to have my truck tuned by you. Im sure it would wake the little 2.7 up

 

Is there an unofficial list of the beta supported vehicles that are supported?

 

HAHA now THATS FUNNY!.... summer is historically our busiest time, pair that with potential reopening of everything from Rona at the start of summer (end of may beginning of june), plus a huge 3 story building that is in final stages of being built (to come online in august) and a full remodel of an existing building going on.... im fucked till next late fall / winter. *cry* id take a Rona Vacation about now... though grass is always greener on the otherside right?


FYI, you might open up a support ticket with HPTuner's for the 4runner so you can send them your cal/hpt debug file etc so they have more info to work off of to get trans tables ect built out.

STS Batch 1 was a limited run.... i messed up on the 2 to 1 downshift. Batch 2 being made now.


@12TRDTacoma and @snowsk8air2 (and any other race truck's)

Spicy Taco Sauce Batch 1 ("STS B1") trans tune has arrived.

This is going to be aggressive with how soon downshifts occur... we are pretty much at the point of a downshift occurring one gear sooner than stock. That is, stock where it would shift from say 4th to 3rd, you will already be in 3rd and about to downshift to 2nd!. This might be to the point of too much... but we wont know till yall try it.

Upshifts / downshifts / tcc lockup and release are all different from my standard V13 hence the name change. If you want me to pop it in your tune let me know!

 

I’ll shoot you an email later today or tomorrow and give it a try. Gonna be working with @JustDSM on 4Runner stuff tomorrow so I might wait until I’m driving the truck again and not the wife. Either way I’ll try it this week

That’s awesome man! He tuned mine last Tuesday and I cannot wipe the smile off my face. I’m running 285’s and actually helped so much more than I initially anticipated ESPECIALLY at highway speeds. But honestly it woke my 06 up with nearly 250k miles. Only gripe about it is that I wish I had done it sooner.

 

I try to keep my laptop on me at all times now just in case something awesome gets dropped on me like this unexpectedly but I don't have it on me right now.

I'll be flashing it later today and give some feedback hopefully by the end of the day. I hope it's everything that I could want from the shift behavior!

On a side note I am taking a small wad of cash to the bank today and paying off my truck in full at last. It will be mine boys!

 

Congrats on the pay off. Now you can start modding it. I waited until mine was paid off before modding too.

Great to hear!!! I cant wait. Especially if it helps with the gear hunting when using cruise control. I'll update the thread once I get some miles on it.

 

If you want me to throw it in your tune let me know. Just keep an eye out, axis values have changed in a few spots.

 

Can you throw it in the last tune I sent you. I wanna give it a shot. If it is too crazy then I will just reflash v13.
