It's like that y'all, and that's the way it is..

I wonder if you could mock up something with an auto spark plug wire just to troubleshoot it?

Curious how old the machine is. I go through nightmares sometimes finding parts for mine, but it's a 20 year old Murray

If you're just testing for spark, all you need to do is crank that thing over as is. If it starts arcing little blue bolts to the nearest ground point you'll know the coil's still good and it just needs a fresh wire.

Karmic retribution from the Lawn Tractor Gods for letting the mice move in, lol.

True true, figure if he has a wire kicking around it's a fast check. That said that module doesn't look fantastic either

I always use Roger's Tire for alignments, they are in Woonsocket, on Cass Ave. The owner, Dave, is extremely nice to deal with, and him and his crew do a great job.

    Happy Birthday Drew @tacobell007!

thanks @Noelie84 also. I was wondering if I was going to need to make the lines, I am much happier not making them.

    Yes, those dam mice.

I bought some cheap blades for mine and bent one after two mowings. I just ordered some Oregon blades instead, hopefully they are better.

Anyone know where to rent an RV to take cross country and back? Just had a family brainstorm and now I think we might spend a few weeks traveling. We are not sure how much the Covid will effect stuff, but we really don't need to be tourist, just see the country.

the blades on this one have taken a beating. My son just owned up that he has hit a cement block a few times, and that's only what he is telling me.

    @Pugga
Having one of the last of my homebrew batch from this past fall; it's a golden pilsner box kit that I darkened up with some brown sugar and a little red ale malt. Still pretty clean flavored, but with some nice maltiness. Plus it was my first time using my front porch hops.
I'm a bit out of practice, though, because you can taste the corn sugar some.

At that age I'd just figure it's preventive maintainence. Trouble with mowers is when you need em, you need em. I have a push mower as well that I just loaned out to my brother in law b/c his tractor croaked

    Self-propelled, or Tacoma-Towable?

Edit- The reason I ask is price-related. Towable stuff probably runs $100-150 a day, with no mileage penalties other than the gas you've got to buy. The Motorhome rentals are something like $1500 a week for the standard 25-foot Winnebago-style and they limit your mileage (same as a lease; anything over the set limit carries a stupid-high penalty, like 50 cents a mile). My parents were looking at renting a Motorhome to do some touring around the state a couple of years ago and ended up just buying their own camper for about what it would have cost them to rent a Winnebago for 3 weeks. On the other hand, they no longer have restless children to worry about keeping entertained in the cab for hours at a time. :notsure:

    Looking at both options.
I may have access to family members pop-up. Thinking the journey will be more enjoyable if we have the space to live while driving, but the cost of rental and fuel will shorten the trip.
