look good. But idk they still don’t have that aggressive sidewall that KO2’s have. Is the sidewall different on the other side?

Well, Fuckin' A... It looks like I'm going to get a little taste of driving these things in the snow after all! Thank God I live in Wisconsin where it snows in May, for fuck's sake!:anonymous:

Honestly, my only complaint about the Open Country AT3's is wet weather traction. They wear great, look great, etc, but mine were very slick on wet roads. In fact I traded mine in with 50% thread left (for $100) on a set of Falken AT3W.

How did you burn through 50% of tread so fast on these tires? They were just released in March

AT2 or AT3? The AT3 just became available recently. And, wet traction was a big focus on the redesign.

    ^^^^Also this. :)

Looking at getting a set next week. How do the sidewalls look? On toyos site they look pretty rugged but the pic here not as much. Still up in the air between these and the falkens

Keep us posted! I'm super interested in the AT3s but am very curious how they compare to my current Duratracs in the snow. Debating between the two when I get a fresh set at the end of the summer.

If you need more aggressive sidewalls go with the BFG’s if not go with the AT3’s.. the sidewalls look aggressive in the photo but are very mild in person.. I didn’t need that aggressive of a sidewall with my stock wheels so it fits me fine, besides they perform above and beyond.. quality tire.. And yes the Falkens are my least favorite.. Plus I’ve ran Falkens before nothing wrong with them just my tastes have changed in tires

It ended up just being a horrible mix of rain and snow, so the roads were just wet. They seem great in the rain so far. I'll have to wait until next winter to really try them in the snow. I think there was a post a few pages back from someone who had gotten into some snow with these. I could be mistaken, though.
