What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I had a bit of free time today so I made a sticker for my RTT...

 

Looks good! Thought about wrapping my roof as well but didnt have the extra money.

 

Yes these bolted right on. I would be surprised if they didn’t fit a 2020, but I can’t be for sure.

 

I would get it wrapped since I have a rack on there. Wrap will protect from straps/ropes scratches. I hope to have it done before June. Not sure it will be open due corona virus. I will call and see.

 

We do a lot of kayaking in the inter coastal and gulf. Learned my lesson the hard way with saltwater in old truck. Money well spent and looks cool so win win.

 

Anything auto related is open here in Florida as it’s deemed “essential”. Not sure I think tint/ wrap shop is but hey I got it done.

 

Got my tint done and once that cured I put some AVS visors on. Definitely liked the way things turned out. Did 20% Ceramic all the way around. Told the wifey I would settle with the mods after getting this done during these COVID times... but I'm just more motivated to do more now.......

 

I called the the wrap shop and it is closed... the tint shop down the road from me is open but it should be closed soon.

I will try to call them tomorrow and see.

 

Man voodoo blue has really grown on me. Loving those headlights.

 

Put on the AJT Design Emblem Overlay - looks much better with the Army Green.

 

You convinced me to get it..eventually. how much did the wrap run you?

Also, currently have a prinsu on my truck. Do you know if I have to take off the whole rack or can I take off the crossbars/wind deflectors?

 

I'm concerned about the heat too but I can always remove it if it causes the interior to be noticeably hotter.

 

Nice net. Was looking at that. I see you got the medium. What size bed do you have? I have the 5' bed and their small net seems to be just a little small.

Looks great!!! Where did you get those? And did you paint them yourself?

 

Just take the crossbars/wind deflectors off... keep the rack mounts on the cab. If you already put silicone around the bolts, no need to take it off. They will put wrap between the rack mounts.

A shop that legit knows how to wrap should have no problem. Mine ran $300.00 for 3m vinyl.

 

Nope.. they are closed today... I will try to call them tomorrow. Hopefully wrap would run about 400 or less for the cab roof.

When I get a new rack for my topper then I will take the old rack off then new one goes up there. If so, I will have topper wrapped by then. Which means it could cost around 800 or so for both.
