I'm still working on them. Between 3 kids and taking care of wife's work stuff and rain, I didn't get much done. I was able to take one of the hangers off and take out the rivets and make the holes in the frame bigger. I just need to install the leaf pack back in and I will be done with one side. Having extra set of hands to help with this project would definately make it quicker too.

don't turn your motor when your sc belt is not properly installed. ask me how i know.

so i got the pulley on and the chewed up belt off. spent about an hour trimming three grooves off a Gates Fleetrunner. now i just need to figure out how to get the belt on. belt was pretty cracked so it was time to r/r.

Fuck using that cutoff wheel to get those rivets. Grind them flat enough to get a drill on it. Drill a small hole and then move up a size to whatever you need the bolts to be). They come loose and then just knock em out with a hammer and punch.

Done a few sets and found that process to be the easiest. Should have that other side done in about 30-45 minutes.
Much less risk of getting impaled by flying cutoff disks too :notsure:

Never mind post looks like you got it on all the way and fixed :)

FYI, there are better install tools from Smoothflow and zzperformance. Not cheap but might help. Maybe someone down south has one?

One other problem you may hit is that the Aluminum pulleys weren’t meant to be reused. Maybe since you didn’t get it all the way in it will be ok?

lastly if you really get stuck you could remove the S/C and send out for a rebuild. Any of the shops that rebuild them also can fix/swap pulleys for you.

    Good luck!!!!

Are you worried about issues with visual inspection with that red pulley?

I went with stealth 2.85 first and switching to smoothflow and I think they will blend in just fine. But red, idk, might look too much like non-CARB.

I already have to take out the 70mm TB and adapter every two years
