I'll keep that I'm mind. FYI, Napa Gold have been some of the best pad I've used.

My truck is to heavy to run normal front pads and rotors. I tried it didnt work lol. I have to run towing pads made of carbon and slotted rotors. On the back i dont care so much as its only 20% of the braking. So i was just going to buy a cheap set of shoes and drums but the cheapest i could find where still $200 at AZ. Advanced and Napa were 240. That dosnt include springs or adjusters. Then @EatSleepTacos turned me onto the powerstop kit that comes with all components on Amazon for 171. Then i just searched for that kit till i found it cheaper on rockauto for 127 plus shipping. And im sure they have better stoppong power than the normal oe replacment stuff.

I love em. Can do em just as fast as the fronts. Having the proper tools helps a bunch

How do you like that Powerstop kit? I've added a shit ton of weight and will need to do regular maint on brakes in the near future anyway. I have even considered going to the 5th gen T4R brakes to help.

@JBTacoma i was recommended cjv outer boots and OEM inner boots by a guy that runs the cvj axles and says they lasted 2yrs of hard wheeling.

Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
Gonna have the 3rd or 4th best looking 3rd gen rims on a 2nd gen... Lowes wanted double for satin black what they did for flat black so I got flat black and satin clear (same price as flat black) 5...or maybe 6? Coats of black and 2 clear so far... Bugs and pollen would drive someone crazy who cared...

I’m finally going to have surgery on my neck tomorrow. I hope I’ll be back to wheeling and camping by fall.
