I've been following this thread and it seems to carry more knowledge than me. I bought just the supercharger and I need to buy everything to install it. Looking for help on getting parts.

I already emailed magnuson about parts but no reply as of yet.

Just finished the TransGo kit. I am about to reinstall my trans pan with the Wix gasket I have, but the holes in the gasket do not align with the holes in the pan. It’s late and I’m getting tired so I will save this for the morning. I’m just ready to drive the truck!

Well it turns out that my brain was fried at 2:30 last night. This morning I went out and flipped the gasket around and got the pan reinstalled and ATF topped up. Just went for a drive to the gas station for a tank load of 93 octane for $28. Can’t beat that!

So now I guess it’s time to monitor AFR’s to be sure I don’t destroy my work. I hit max boost of 8.7psi WOT on my first pull. I forgot to look at the AFR when I did that pull. D’oh.

Here’s some pictures of various parameters as the engine idles in the shop.

Today I drove the truck some more, including some more WOT pulls. My AFRs stay around the mid 14s and then when I put the petal on the floor, AFRs drop to 11-12. Seems pretty spot on from what I have saved from earlier posts in this thread. Highway on-ramps and general acceleration is wayyyy better.

One question for y’all, do I need to program my PSB-1 for my altitude? I see a function to set it on the gauge but I can’t figure out how to actually change it. Is it a big deal? Boost is still peaking around 8.7psi. I was thinking it would make a little more than that with the 2.2” pulley, but I guess not?

I am so happy with how this turned out and I can’t thank you guys enough for helping me along the way.

It doesn’t shift as rough as I was imagining it would. From what I had read, people made me think that I wouldn’t like the roughness but I’m quite happy with it. It shifts quickly and deliberately now. Going from park to reverse or drive on a cold truck is definitely more noticeable than it was before, but it feels good. It’s less slushy for sure.

In the winter,if you’re in a cold location, it can shift pretty rough until the fluid warms up. I installed mine just before winter and had some pretty rough shifts first thing in the morning. Especially if you get on it right away. However, in general, the shifts are more crisp and not jarring. Below 32 degrees out with a cold tranny...jarring

Has anyone replaced the idler pulley bearing in their dynamic tensioner and have the bearing # on hand?

Mine is spinning a little rough so it's probably time to be replaced.

Seems like it is highly recommended with the supercharger and almost necessary with any undersized pulley on the blower.
