Me either...and at that YELLOW. The cats different. I can't even imagine how many hours go into painting the rafters of a 60' deep garage.

I was thinking it was some kind of painted sign, that the wood got reclaimed for the shelf project. Unless its random shapes painted on there.

    It's definitely bright.

You already win... his light shade is broken and that yellow and red is obnoxious. Not to mention the hanging wire going to the light. Pretty half ass wire run there. Just point one thing out every time you visit.

I’ve got a mate just like you. I could gold plate something and he’d break balls because I used mismatched washers.

People that know me, usually know that’s all it is. I always add legitimate comments about a good job too. If they are showing off or bragging, then zero positive comments. Probably not busting ball comments either. You’ll get an emotionless “cool.” I hate that keeping up with the Jones shit.

Really nice and reminds me of my friend over in the next town. He made this tool wall in 1958 when he started the shop. It had already been in business since 1912. He is still there, humping tires and tune-ups and oil changes. He's a damn man..lol

Im like that to my air racing buddy. He's a mechanical whiz and has an A&P, but, as.an example, he was rebuilding some sort of hyrdralic pump or valve control assembly on his bench, and put it together with one piece the wrong color. He said, " yeah, nobody's ever going to see that." And I said, "yes, but you will be able to see it in your mind, and you will know you did a half-assed job, forever."

He looked at me, said "fuck you," and started to disassemble it.
