This display is pretty cool and rotates like they’re flying.

Had to deal with this yesterday while trying to preflight. Not the best video, but I’ll blame it on my wife.

somehow her phone recorded in slow mo and she was holding the dog’s leash, so I guess it’s not that bad

Not much. The 135 flying has slowed to almost nothing. I’m very thankful to be full time employed and not contracting right now

Earlier this week the MT ANG did a low level flyover across several cities statewide - morale thing for first responders and medical staff. My town was the last stop before heading back to base. The Herc stuck around and did a few touch and gos in some moderate crosswinds. This was my view from my front porch on their second pass...as soon as I saw they were banking for another pass i grabbed my camera and waited. Might not be the Blue Angels but it was still cool to watch them come in

When i was in the Sandbox last year the only time I saw C130s when they were moving HR. /head bow. I never realized how tight a turn the C130s can take. Miss my job back in the sandboy, but its too far from home. Happy to be home, sad cause im unemployed.

They are doing Detroit tomorrow @ 1130. I'm on the St. Clair River (Canuckian side) and their flight path doesn't quite extend this far, but I may catch a glimpse or hear them. What would be really really cool would be to have the Blue Angels form up with the Canadian Snowbirds and fly the River border. Won't happen of course, but a guy can dream eh?

Whining from 'tards in Sarnia already had Selfridge stop the approach along the river of their A10s cuz it scared people...ughhh. I always enjoyed seeing a pair low over the river approaching the pattern.

Do get to see the KC refuellers come and go low...but quiet

A flight of F-18s doing a fly-by like they’re doing over cities is pretty quiet too. Didn’t sound any louder than the normal jet traffic over Dallas

I finally get to start tailwheel next week. The school here had a wait list that was about a year long. Will be flying a Legend Super Cub.

Awesome. I’m jealous, I’ve wanted to get my tail wheel but it’s just never worked out

The club here is supposed to be selling the Huskies and getting newish super cubs. I guess the huskies have been ground looped a couple of times by club members and the Super Cubs are supposed to be more forgiving.

Yikes. I wouldn’t want to see how much insurance costs for a tailwheel aircraft used for instruction
