I remember doing the rear drums on my Jeep when I had it. What a damn nightmare. Kept one as a guide but the damn springs just wouldn't sit right when they went back in. Might try them on the taco though.

For me I will be using OEM, even cjv says they are the best. All they do when they rebuild them is take the Toyota axles and but new grease, boots and clamps on them. All they are comparing on their site is the boots everything else is the same. the picture below is from cvj's site. They are comparing the price to new Toyota axles on their site not Toyota rebuilt axles.

I might pull the trigger on this. I messaged him tonight. Just have to have @gixxerphil measure his to see how much room under bed rack I will have.

Sweet! I considered buying it and selling it for a little profit haha, but not worth the hassle to me for a couple hundred bucks. Hope it works out for you, that’s a really really good deal.

I just need to make sure I will still have enough room for cooler and other items. It would definitely reduce totes with gear for camping. Goal is to not have any items in cab. Kids need room in the back seat. Last time we traveled we had some gear on the drivers side.

yeah you're one of the situations I think that would get a lot of use out of the decked, I try and keep everything out of the seat area of my backseat for the dogs but crap is in the floor boards and it annoys me. I threw a bunch of random unorganized crap in my decked and just didn't really use it to it's potential...hence why I sold it. just gotta pull the trigger on a smaller bed toolbox to get the few things out of my backseat too.

Actually on their website it says that their best axle avalible is the OEM outer boot with their Inner boot. That is When there is a lift involved.

by your wording (I haven't seen the website) that implies that's the best THEY offer, not the best option out there. That chart still shows that a NEW OEM is best, but they don't offer that...so from their offerings the best is OEM outer with their inner..

Just trying to figure out if its worth doing the inner boot. Alot of what i have read is ppl who have run this setup said boots lasted longer than their OEM inners.
